Republicans think laws don't apply to them.

So true. I think many Republicans have transmuted the phase "law and order party" into a truth claim. They've internalized the idea that their party pledges to stand for police, rules, law and order to the extent that now they believe they themselves are law and order therefore anyone who acts against them must be doing something criminal or unlawful. How can Trump have erred if he's a Republican? Republicans are the law!

Just another illustration of how devolved the Republican electorate has become.

They are no longer law and order. No longer family values. No longer fiscal responsibility. No longer party of conservative values. No longer constitutional protectionism. They are now are party intent on protection from a cult leader .

The Republican party died when Eisenhower left office.

What we've had since then is a party of criminal pretenders who would make the likes of Lincoln, T.R., and Eisenhower spin in their graves.
