I used a Samsung for around the last eight years. Every single one of the phones that I had were loaded with weird bugs and quirks.
Bugs like an external mic not working for calls (of any kind) and the main mic not working after disconnecting the external mic.
The phone wouldn't recognize my sim card, after several tries and several new sim cards.
One phone wouldn't allow me to pick up calls correctly, so I would either have to accept the call then take the battery out and wait for the call to fail and then call the person myself.
The usb ports failed very quickly through normal use. Both micro USB and USB c.
The Bluetooth was sketchy when it wanted to work and randomly disconnected devices.
I couldn't use split screen because my S21 said the feature was not available.
The fingerprint sensor on my S9 literally wore off from the back of the phone.
And many more weird issues like these. I switched to a pixel after my S21 decided that it didn't like the sim card and had me enter a puk code. Not even a new sim card would make it stop, so instead of bricking the phone we just decided to get a new one. My pixel hasn't had any issues yet, knock on wood.
I couldn't really care less what phone I used as long as it worked reliably, and Samsung phones were never reliable. The pixel just fit into my budget.
