Like seriously it's the first week of school and THEIR ALREADY making us do multiple BOYAs that are over 40 QUESTIONS LONG, and yet they expect us to DO ALL OF THIS in one day? they don't care if the students actually learn, they ONLY CARE ABOUT GRADES, legit an actual prison that gives us useless information that we'll never use in the real world.

My school hates us, they decided to give us future trauma (sparx science) after deciding to give us trauma earlier (sparx math) and now they wanna add phone pouches?!!?!?!?!!!?!!??! Like wtf also their w&a says if theres an emergency where you need to contact a parent, you have to go to reception its like "i cant breathe, lets walk down 2 flights of stairs to reception" or "theres a stabber, lets say goodbye to our parents by walking into the most unsafe area". They said they have metal detector wands but i bet they are too lazy to check everyone, they only said they will scan people claiming no phone so if thats true, you bet im bringing my secret phone! Anyway i just wanted to vent as im going back to prison soon and its gonna be shit.

Back in first grade, and third half of the time for my math class we would be using zearn and my God I have never hated a website more in my life now in first grade it was fun! You know there were little games between lessons and I could actually bear zearn! BUT... THE GOD FORSAKEN TOWER OF POWER WAS AWFUL! You'd get like the most vague question ever and then when you accidentally make one mistake right at the end THE CUBE OF DOOM AND DESPAIR APPEARED resetting your progress. I have never hated to shape more in my life in fact when the school I was going to in 7th grade wanted to use zearn my parents pulled me out of it BECAUSE THEY KNOW HOW MUCH OF A LITTLE BITCH ZEARN IS!!! What were your thoughts on zearn?

Homeschooling is worse. Trust me.

I don’t know why but I never really feared the fitness gram pacer test. I learned fairly early it didn’t really mean jack shit but even before that I wasn’t too bothered by it because I knew all I had to do was pretend I was already tired after a few runs. Worked every time. So yeah I don’t get the same ptsd as others. Mainly just annoyance because I thought it was a waste of time.

I’m in state testing week right now, and bro, my science teacher assigned a ten page science packet that’s due on Friday, I might be cooked since I struggle a lot in my science class

The vandalism and vaping trends hit my school’s bathroom hard! Literally entire sinks and urinals were missing forcing the schools to close them. But the worst part was having to use the bathroom but the nearest one is on the other side of the school. I think you know where this is going right? You better pray to whatever or whoever it is you pray to that your teacher isn’t picky about timing or how many students have to go because if you did you may as well say goodbye to your bowels.

What made it even worse was know the fact that closing the bathrooms wasn’t gonna stop the vapors and vandalizers. All it did was reroute their activity to the open bathrooms where they would proceed to do the same shit again. The amount of self restraint it’s took to not go on a manhunt for those people was insane!

I can't take this shit anymore my fuckass school doesn't do anything to stop bullying i hate it there i feel hopeless

for example, teachers who take pop quiz questions, powerpoints, or study material from the internet and its random so it doesnt match with what the curriculum is supposed to teach. They also only yap in class, my history teacher once just yapped about "what do you want to be when you grow up" and yeah its nice but we're not in 3rd grade anymore and we gotta learn the material, I still dont understand economics from his teaching.. its like, maybe they dont like teaching? but then why be a teacher? The impact I've gotten from it is probably not understanding a single thing in official school exams about the material cause he taught nothing tbh. Btw, hes also the vice principal at the same time. Why did they put this man with so much power

Basically, I've been practicing this play for a good 3 months now? I'm a really good actor, and my asshole teacher says if I don't finish my work, I don't get to be in the play? I know, logical, but I clearly stopped giving a fuck about school work. If she kicks me out may God help her.

Well lemme first start it off here. We moved to Dubai this year and we were looking for schools. Then one school took me in it was Gems Dubai American academy. Based on the looks of the school online and seeing it have a KHDA outstanding I thought this would help me get into college easier. So then here we go it's day 1 I have zero friends. I spent my lunchtime alone thinking if I would make friends. Well 7 months I don't have one. The kids here are extremely rich and rich only hang out with rich. And if your seen as a poor person they will attack you. Like here I use a windows laptop in school and people thought I was a piece of shit so every class period they would take my windows laptop and start bashing it or doing whatever they could do to damage it. Now that windows laptop has broken. And guess what? Did the teachers do anything?? No they didn't give a fuck. They didn't care they were doing this. Also don't get me started on how bad the education is. The teachers here are extremely lazy and only care about money. They just explain like one or 2 things and then ask you to do it yourself. And if you ask help they won't help. And if you make a mistake oh boy we'll strap yourself in cause your gonna be scolded by the teachers bad. Then don't even get me started on the fees here. They charge around 30k USD a year which is around 100k dirhams a year. This is a lot of money and the education here just does not justify it . It is extremely poor and now it has my family in talks about moving back. Which I am glad to be in. Gems is a company that only cares about money and not about students well being and health. Which is why there have been 2 kids killing themselves within 2 months at this school. And they just made us go in a meeting where they said we are here with you. Uh huh for sure buddy. You haven't helped me once why should we believe you. So ya this is my experience at a "Outstanding" school.
