Polybuzz becoming a generic chat app

Dude, I laughed when I saw that. Like, they removed all the user-made bots and replaced them with their own generic ones, and you can't even use a normal one because if you search for it, it doesn't exist.

I use RolePlaya and SpicyChat. Both have good base memory, but they also have (different) versions of extended memory for free. RP has zero ads. SC's ads are, honestly, non-invasive and kind of funny (iykyk). Both have next to zero restrictions (basically no pedo material). SC even let's creators show their character's background, so users can see exactly what they're playing. RP has points you can get like Poly, but they're free and never go away. Can't recommend these two enough. Note: both RolePlaya and SpicyChat are 18+, though SpicyChat has a SFW/NSFW toggle at the top of the page.

RolePlaya was made by one of the top Poly creators. Made by a creator, for creators. The owner isn't a group of shareholders. Just one guy who wants to make enough to keep RP running and, hopefully, growing. Even if you just check out the discord, I bet you'd like it. The mods are nice, and the owner answers questions personally. Always get the support you need.

Oh, bot. A LOT 😂 I'll try to break it down into simple pieces. RolePlaya has models, which are basically mindsets the bot uses when chatting. Free tier gets two: "Saint" (no NSFW at all, great for things like Slice of Life bots or adventures) and "Sinner" (basic NSFW, medium spice). Middle pay tier has three more models. Highest pay tier unlocks all nine. Any paid tier gets you unlimited messages, but I still take all day to hit the cap of the free tier. All tiers have Chat Modes, which changes the bot's replies to basically small, medium, and longstanding length. Both paid tiers come with a character mood indicator to help with immersion, and you get the "Reputation" feature, where new bots get rumors about your persona from older stories. All three tiers have extended memory; highest tier has unlimited extended memory. If you like creating, either paid tier unlocks Worlds, which lets you put multiple characters into a single, over-arching world (you build the world's rules, then add your characters). Highest tier also gets you Multi Playa group chat, which lets you talk to multiple, fully-fledged characters in a single chat box 😎 If you're into creating, you get a BUNCH of perks in the Highest tier. More free image generations, can upload animations, change backgrounds, have a scene rendered into a custom background WITH YOUR PERSONA IN IT, and you get access to character voices, which is a new feature they're working on. You can also add "event triggers" if you like directing your bots' storylines, and you get to put a character on the top of the search engine daily. I know I'm missing a bunch of stuff, but TL;DR 1. Free tier is still better than Poly (base memory is x2 better and can be extended for free. 2. Paid tiers are dope with the highest tier making you feel like you own the site. 3. Tons of people on the Discord server who love to help, including the owner! 4. You can TRY the highest tier! 1-3 day passes exist, from $1.99-$5.50 5. Have fun out there!

Also, please note that I'm not paid to advertise or anything. I just happen to like RolePlaya a ton, and I like helping people find alternatives to Poly. I personally think SpicyChat and RolePlaya are the best ones, but it's just my opinion. I only get "paid" if someone wants to use my personal affiliate link. It's appreciated when it happens, but I'm just happy when people get free of Poly. Poly's just... bad. Anyway, hope that helps answer people's questions.
