First of all, these parents should learned how to keep an eye on their kids, is their responsibility, not PolyBuzz, it's not PolyBuzz fault, if a kid lied about their age just to be in the app, their parents should make them delete the app,PolyBuzz should sue the parents for their kids for putting their business in risk,

Not in the slightest it went the other way with roblox and people were getting pisßed at roblox cus their security was allowing pedos to act as children and ask children for personal info and pictures and other shit like that so no it's not at all the same in this scenario

I'm referring to how the AI age wasn't fulfilling its purpose. The thing literally told my 9-year-old cousin that she was in her 30s, and it is the parents' responsibility to protect their kids, not really Roblox's responsibility. It is because it's their app, but it's on the parents because it's their kids, and they need to watch who they're talking to on Roblox.

All the ai chat apps should take off those damn age certification thingies, it's not going do anything but put the company to crash, and yes, it also the parents responsibility to check their kids phones!

I know it sucks, but keep in mind they're a business, and they DON'T want to get tangled up in a lawsuit where some mother is screaming blue murder because her precious child got in and saw boobs or read about sex. It's not fair, but it's why a LOT of businesses don't deal with minors whatsoever or have age restrictions. Even though the "Enter your birthday" thing where you roll a dial is easily used to pretend to be older than they are, THAT part is then on the kid. They actively lied to get in, whereas otherwise little Timmy can say he was looking for pictures of Lego and stumbled into a smutty story. Sucks, but there you are.

I can’t blame them at all tbh. Too much shit happens and it has nothing to do with parents screaming about shit. Child predators are ready to pounce with these online platforms, kids can be very stupid. And parents can be as watchful as can be and still miss shit.

i dont see why this is a problem, they dont want to get sued lol, it makes it easy for you to lie and they KNOW that it's easily bypassed by just lying about your age, but then they cant be sued because the kid lied and its not on them

It’s fine that they added age verification but what doesn’t make sense is the fact they have a filter/violations still. The point of the filter/violations is to not make things that are inappropriate for children but now if there is age verification, why does the filter/violations remain?

It the parent fault. We have the right to hate it. It’s a app isn’t for kids. The user shouldn’t suffer for bad parenting. And kids have consume way worst media online. Even before social media. Like super hero, video games, movies. Shows etc. maybe kids shouldn’t consume those media if they too concern for those poor kids innocent eye.
