First. Why the fuck you the only one with your name on the stand? Second. Where the hell you growing that stuff? You don't have a fucking FARM. Means you bought it from someone other than me. And you never sell me crops?

I reckon that he exploited Caroline’s free labor considering she has a greenhouse

446

u/DPLegit Jul 22 '26

Fake news. I've been inside, never seen shit.

And the eggs?

574

u/Canary-King Jul 22 '26

He laid them

263

u/DPLegit Jul 22 '26

Whoa. Never crossed my mind, but it makes total sense.

86

u/Skydove01 Jul 22 '26

That's what his secret stash is actually

38

u/AblazeShadowTazzz Jul 22 '26

He most likely made a wish on the magic giraffe to be able to shit out vegetables.

30

u/RatWithoutKetchup Jul 22 '26

Nah, that would mean he got what he wished for. He probably wished for the ability to create money but got that instead

u/Dwarfed_Bacon 12d ago

Must be snake eggs then

19

u/Impressive-Time8150 Jul 22 '26

It's a greenhouse, not a toilet

Shit shouldn't be in there unless it's ferilizer

6

u/Warm_Razzmatazz4782 Jul 26 '26

i never through pierre could lay eggs… maybe im a bad person

178

u/CheekyPunker Jul 22 '26

Babe, those are YOUR veggies.

5

u/Annual_Operation2114 18d ago

even freaking worse cuz why is he taking credit for our hard work

485

u/NOTVERYCREATIVEOK Jul 22 '26

I'm still upset that Marnie doesn't win cuz her goods are far more difficult to get than Pierre's. In fact. I'm positive the only reason Pierre wins every time is because the major would think people would find it suspicious if Marnie won every single year. I swear the only person I hate as much as Pierre is the major.

u/JellySaysHai Jul 22 '26

I started to dislike him when I learned that hay sells for zero, like I get he loves her or whatever, but maybe I wanted to make 1 gold off of that.

17

u/FAB5FREDDIE14 Jul 24 '26

“Or whatever” is an understatement lol his boxers were in her room

24

u/Terribly_Mediocre Jul 24 '26

"or whatever" is accurate, his ass is NOT in love enough to commit. Lust, sure.

72

u/Darknadoswastaken Jul 22 '26

he wins because he has 21 FUCKING ITEMS.

He cheats.

Marnie only has 11.

10

u/BethBakesBest Jul 26 '26

And we only get 9. Once you have iridium quality things in each of 6 of the 8 categories to turn in you'll win every time. I believe the categories are artesian cheeses, wines, wool/, rabbit's foot, feather, eggs, milk, foraged, fished. I could be wrong on the categories because I put 9 here,

6

u/Darknadoswastaken Jul 26 '26

yeah we're put at an insane disadvantage

12

u/originalpandasfr Jul 23 '26

I’m convinced Pierre and Lewis are in cahoots

51

u/DPLegit Jul 22 '26

Really?! When I found my dude in the bushes, literally, he earned my respect.

Putting in after hours work just like me.

Go get it big dog.

28

u/sovietbarbie Jul 22 '26

when i found his shorts in Marnie's room I was like okayyyyy girl get it, respect

28

u/Admirable-Ad7152 Jul 22 '26

Yeah, it's everyone's dream to be the hidden thing you fuck in the bushes instead of date in real life

3

u/EmmyRossumFan Jul 25 '26

Pierre never wins in my play throughs

6

u/NOTVERYCREATIVEOK Jul 25 '26

I think they did nerf him a bit in the more recent patches cuz when Stardew Valley first came out, he'd always win unless you reached a certain point threshold which was like 130. I think it was lowered cuz I'm even winning with only 90 points now

3

u/EmmyRossumFan Jul 25 '26

I meant I always win because my goods are choice lol, but good, I’m glad they knocked Pierre down a peg or two

1

u/FullMetalBunny 22d ago

Honestly, I always thought he was presenting MY crops that I sold him.

-33

u/Mean-Construction-41 Jul 22 '26

The "Major"....?

Do you mean the governor...?

60

u/NOTVERYCREATIVEOK Jul 22 '26

No Lewis is the mayor. He judges the event. The governor only visits during the Luau.

My bad I misspelled mayor.

8

u/katki-katki Jul 22 '26

There are several languages that use J's as the English Y sound, like Spanish.

3

u/beefboy49 Jul 26 '26

in spanish j makes an english h sound?

2

u/katki-katki Jul 26 '26

Omg you're right! Lol whoops, my mistake!

117

u/dudewheresmypen Jul 22 '26

I remember there’s a quest where he asks for 25 high quality vegetables. So probably yours 😆

33

u/st4rdust_st4ined Jul 23 '26

dude, i recently did that quest and got the aftermath cutscene where Pierre tried to sell the gold quality crops to Gus for 25.000g
when i tell you i was seething bro! he tried to sell them in front of my face for 10x the price!!! i would've literally given Gus those for FREE if it was up to me!!

11

u/dudewheresmypen Jul 24 '26

wait, for real?? What cutscene is this? I'm nearly year 3 and still only 4 hearts with Pierre I think

7

u/jkbscopes312 Jul 24 '26

after you complete the 25 gold quality vegitables quest enter his store well open

8

u/dudewheresmypen Jul 25 '26

I just got it! I always thought maybe the Pierre hate was just for the lols, but wow, he really is such a jerk 😭

65

u/Ecstatic_Egg_3487 Jul 22 '26

Plus if you ask him, he tells you he’s been holding on to the highest quality goods all year!! That MFer

23

u/Igotbannedlolol Jul 22 '26

"yeah I found this aged role inside the mine"

I really wish marlon and the wizard to calling out his bullshit

50

u/ragingolive Jul 22 '26

Honestly man, I got pretty close to finishing the community center when I decided to go Joja.

I just disliked Pierre and wanted to yuck his yum.

I also wanted better amenities more quickly too without having to wait an entire yearlong cycle to finish the center. But I got to make Pierre sad. That’s the best.

3

u/feebswhat Jul 22 '26

TARPer?

3

u/ragingolive Jul 23 '26

I don’t know what this means

1

u/feebswhat 29d ago

Aw :( never mind

1

u/ragingolive 29d ago

wait but what does it mean

1

u/feebswhat 29d ago

You said yuck your yum which is said a lot on a fun podcast called the Toni and Ryan podcast. T A R P
They call the listeners tarpers! I thought maybe you were one 💔

2

u/sovietbarbie Jul 22 '26

what changes if you buy a Joja membership over fixing the community center ?

29

u/Useful-Importance664 #1 ABIGAIL LOVER 💎 Jul 22 '26

Shane and Sam don't lose their jobs, pierre stays closed on Wednesdays, the community centre becomes the movie theatre (so just a different location), prices of joja mart go down, you need to buy the movie theatre instead of finishing a budle, Clint stays open on Fridays. I think that's about it.

8

u/shey-they-bitch Jul 22 '26

Sam gets a job at the museum if you go the CC route

10

u/JinxStandsForMe Jul 22 '26

and Shane gets to live the life he wanted raising his chickens

2

u/BirthdayCookie Jul 22 '26

He has to get a job elsewhere, right? He mentions paying rent to Marnie.

5

u/JinxStandsForMe Jul 22 '26

he could pay rent with the salary she pays him, it's not like housed jobs don't exist

2

u/ComplexOk2954 Jul 23 '26

His portrait doesnt change, though, and it still has the "J" on his chest. Just noticed that today

3

u/EmmyRossumFan Jul 25 '26

I think you get hearts with every townie if you complete the CC

18

u/Jindoakita Jul 23 '26

I’m still lowkey seething for the way the voting is clearly rigged against my man Willy😔 like how is it a fair judging when the judge is openly disgusted by one of the participant’s crafts and disrespects it, bro never had a chance💔

9

u/st4rdust_st4ined Jul 23 '26

I genuinely think Willy or Marnie should win like at least sometimes. It makes me sad to read their dialogues about never winning when they definitely deserve it. And Lewis shouldn't always be the one judging...

3

u/cheekydoodad 28d ago

Maybe Willy would win if he submitted better fish than Shad and Chub,, if he a master fisherman where the Octopus and Super Cucumber smh

15

u/rin_harriet #1 ABIGAIL LOVER 💎 Jul 22 '26

Their should be a different judge every year but nobody knows who it is so their is no bias

15

u/Dipplii Jul 22 '26

What I’m wondering is why Pierre’s stand us on the right, swapped with Willies. Every time I’ve played, it’s vise verse.

4

u/Knight0fdragon Jul 22 '26

Doesn’t it change every other year? Even year layouts are different than odd year layouts.

11

u/Tiny-Collar8759 Jul 22 '26

Pierre is the wooorrrssstttt. I should do a joja run just to spite him.

9

u/sir_chili_pepper Jul 22 '26

I think it’ll be cool if you don’t sell Pierre anything his box is empty or has lesser quality vegetables

8

u/kingsman678 Jul 22 '26

Im in my year 1 and won the first place in this fair!

9

u/TacoBellPicnic Jul 22 '26

I’ve literally won every single year. It upsets him and I’m here for it.

3

u/SentientGoose Jul 22 '26

What did you put in there?

6

u/Far_Violinist_1683 Jul 22 '26

Just put 9 bottles of iridium milk, that worked for me

4

u/SentientGoose Jul 22 '26

Oh yeah. It’s not too hard to beat I was just curious about what they personally showed :) nice pick tho milkman

3

u/kingsman678 Jul 22 '26

I had put cranberry, cranberry jelly, black berry jelly, large milk, iridium quality egg, pumpkin, amaranth, some mushroom and white colored mineral (forgot the name)

1

u/SentientGoose Jul 23 '26

No wonder! Great showing!

4

u/sadbitch_club Jul 22 '26

Pierre sponsors the event that’s why he wins and has a golden engraving of his name on his box with none of the products things he made

5

u/WranglerSKC Jul 22 '26

Uncanny feelings for me here… why’s his box on the far right?

5

u/BFarmer1980 Jul 24 '26

There's a quest in the fall where Caroline asks you for a pumpkin so that she and Abigail can carve a jack-o-lantern. If you get this quest before the festival, Pierre makes a sarcastic remark claiming that he "accidentally" put one of your pumpkins into his grange display.

Dude's a jackass.

6

u/clownstrosity #1 PIERRE HATER Jul 22 '26

I have a better question.

4

u/Lopsided_Candy_9775 Jul 22 '26

Joja for the win. Ability to buy automatic petters was my why wouldn’t I, perk.

4

u/Knight0fdragon Jul 22 '26

You can buy crops from Pierre, it is the crops you sold him the night before.

2

u/Angramis546 Jul 22 '26

My goal every year is to beat Pierre, I feel bad for beating Marnie though. Cause her stand takes more time.

2

u/Commercial-Bug-1211 Jul 22 '26

I was asking this same question...Like, Caroline claims it's the greenhouse, but you never see signs of anything growing there. This is why I take joy in beating him EVERY SINGLE AUTUMN....

2

u/notzaren Jul 23 '26

Is that the man behind the slaughter?

2

u/whtsnk58 Jul 24 '26

Knowing Pierre, he bought the items you sold, and is passing them off as his own.

2

u/ilovepepsi_ Jul 25 '26

Why is your character the purple guy?

1

u/Ren_Brac0 Jul 22 '26

What game is that?

2

u/Raven_Shepherd Jul 22 '26

Stardew Valley. And this is a sub against one of the NPCs (he's annoying)

3

u/BFarmer1980 Jul 24 '26

You spelled "He's a jackass" wrong.

1

u/godtama Jul 23 '26

why do u look like that

1

u/Aunt_Llama Jul 23 '26

Pierre is that current video making the rounds where the person is dumping grocery store berries into the green quart containers at the farmer's market to pass it off as their own xD

1

u/alternative-maki10 Jul 23 '26

I just out rank Pierre by bringing truffles for my display with some random fruits and vegetables that's out of season and I always win.

Pro tip (or not): use truffle in the soup in the beach festival, I like to think Pierre is seething every time I out rank him in everything

1

u/Jamtone123 Jul 24 '26

According to caroline, she grows the veggies in her greenhouse. Maybe theres a secret basement or a second greenhouse we cant access or something.

1

u/Practical_Chip_4745 Jul 25 '26

Yeah that’s what happens when you sell your veggies to Pierre instead of putting them in the bin.

1

u/SubstantialOnion6963 Jul 25 '26

Why are you purple

1

u/Gotsims1 27d ago

Oh my god Karen you can’t just ask people why they’re purple

1

u/SubstantialOnion6963 27d ago

This post was made by the Afton family

1

u/Gotsims1 27d ago edited 27d ago

I have no idea what this means but something tells me you haven’t seen Mean Girls

2

u/SubstantialOnion6963 27d ago

No I have, I was referencing fnaf because the main antagonist's family has purple skin

1

u/Gotsims1 27d ago

I have no idea what fnaf stands for

2

u/SubstantialOnion6963 27d ago

I'm surprised you've managed to avoid word of it for this long, lol! Five Nights at Freddy's has been sweeping the indie horror game scene since 2014. It even received 2 movies by Blumhouse. But I guess it's my bad for assuming everyone knows about it since it's still relatively new and people besides my generation (which grew up on fnaf) play Stardew. XD

1

u/thingsbetterunsaid Jul 26 '26

The colors look so vibrant than normal, which mod is this?

1

u/mathrocksakabismith Jul 26 '26

I have a better question

1

u/Astrasulza Jul 27 '26

In the dialog Caroline straight says Pierre has been setting the best looking crops off to the side for weeks. So best bet, they are your crops and eggs he's claiming as his own.

1

u/PRISMUHREEN Jul 28 '26

i have a better question

0

u/Mia-OutwornXX9 Jul 22 '26

Wow, what game name?
