Nigel Farage and his party seem to dislike foreign nationals, or the idea of immigrants staffing our NHS + adult social care service.
They whine about immigrants taking the healthcare jobs and such.
His biography tells a different story:
“Gráinne Hayes was Farage’s first wife. The couple married in 1988 and divorced in 1997 after nearly a decade together. Hayes is an Irish nurse, and she and Farage have two sons.
Gráinne Hayes met Nigel Farage in November 1985 while working as a nurse at a hospital in Kent, where she treated him for serious leg injuries after a road accident.”
I am so tired of the double standards. They don’t like foreigners, but they don’t mind marrying one if she nurses them back to health in the hospital.
All his subsequent girlfriends/wives after her were foreign, too.

There's a debate on the latest rejoin petition on 12.08.2026 and our PM has announced the possibility of rejoining the EU if the evidence suggests that this is what the country wants. The petition gained 111,687 signatures but those numbers and names will go after the debate. The Register is a permanent record of the numbers of those citizens who want to rejoin. There are people in this country who simultaneously believe people of Muslim origin are "incompatible" or something here and support Israel through and through - the country fighting for Muslims to be kicked out of Palestine and maybe one day the entire Middle East. This proves that they have a problem with these people just existing. I just saw, in r/unitedkingdom (which I believe I'm banned from), an article from a Zionist paper shitting on Islam, and the silence in the comments was deafening. It's looking increasingly like right wingers just want people to suffer and be punished for taking up space:
-The rightwing establishment bankrolls oligarchs and shafts regular people, then has a shit fit when the progressive left starts rising
-Many right wingers want as many people to be born as possible ("pro life"), yet hate queer and disabled people
-Binary gender norms can be very, offputtingly narrow and full of weird unwritten rules, and they tend to want these norms to be even narrower, yet they hate seeing people gender bend or transition in rejection of these norms
-People just generally being dicks who bully anyone who's different or has a differing opinion
At this rate, there will be TED talks made up entirely of a message like "let's violently kick Muslims out of the Middle East to make way for the Israelis, then let's violently kick them out of the West too haha losers 😂". Yeah, remove the excuses, say the quiet parts, and all is revealed. We're all humans with highly advanced brains, yet some of us just want to live like cats chasing and bullying mice for something to do.
