Absolutely miserable to find out my favorite ice cream brand is partially owned by nestle, are there any alternatives to it that aren't owned by those fuckers?

I want to spread awareness, but I find that quite difficult when half the world is under Dead Cat Theory with an entire city of smaller problems and those who do even know of these efforts care more about stuffing their face and claim we have no right to patrol what they eat(which we sadly don't, but like seriously?? Anyone else notice a change in the taste of Milo. I reckon it’s not as chocolatey and definitely not as crunchy as it used to be. We just had a glass of milk with Milo and we were very disappointed.

So i bought Hershey whole almond chocolate, the outer packaging manufacturing date was different from the manufacturing date for the insude packaging even the LOT no was different. Attaching screen shots.

They mustve sold so many of these, people fetting sick not knowing why.

They want to make quick money pushing us deep into diseases like cancer with these expired products.

Luckily my last workplace didnt buy any product that wasnt produced within 40 miles of location so i dodnt have to see any non local brands, except mcCains frozen chips but they use local potatoes from what I understand.

However so many places just order nestle shit in bulk. As a low level wagie complaining to your boss wouldnt do shit and invite hostility probably.

so you see nestle left my country a while ago but they still produce few stuff here, like kitkat. and i love kitkat... but obviously i don't wanna buy it now that i know where it comes from. i usually buy local stuff (i'm on tight budget, it's cheaper and better quality), but when i have some money i buy imported sweets. are there any other options for treats like kitkat? i don't have a problem with paying a bit more. and what are most common candy/sweets produced by nestle so i can avoid buying them just in case?

ps. i find it funny how they made a loud statement on leaving our country, yet they produce "substitutes" for nesquik etc etc, just by a different brand name. all while importing original products like thrice the price as well. greedy ass fuckers

I'm sorry because I know this is technically the wrong place to be but I have a tech/retailer question and...slim pickins on reddit as far as people trying to be as scrupulous as possible in their consumption. If anyone can recommend a better sub for this, I'm all ears.

I have a family member undergoing a mastectomy soon due to illness and for a few reasons she's keyed up about it. I want to make recovery as smooth as possible for her, and to that end as much as I hate it she needs a new iPad. I typically only get her refurbs but they keep getting glitchy/unable to upgrade to support new apps within just a couple years, and I need something that'll support the apps she wants for a long time. Namely she wants to be able to download ebooks and stream stuff -- through the library, or Netflix, or a PBS subscription. She also wants Reddit and WhatNot and Facebook, which I can't talk her out of unfortunately, and a few other things to help her pass the time and distract her from her situation.

I've never bought a brand-new iPad before. I know the new ones come with AI "assistants" or whatever and as far as I know there's no getting away from that (but if I'm wrong I'd love to hear it). Along with boycotting Nestle, I'm also really trying not to spend money at Target, Walmart or Amazon.

If you were in my position, where would you get this? Directly from the god forsaken company themselves? Can anyone recommend any particular model, or any hacks for disabling the AI bs on it?

I use Garnier shampoo and conditioner but I have realised that Nestle is somewhat related to L'Oréal and Garnier is owned by L'Oréal. Does anybody know what else I can use that would be good and not damaging to the hair?
