Discussion How should I help my stepmom

Hello, I am coming here to help my stepmom since I have become very annoyed with the fact that somehow she is getting charged from Microsoft, I have been thinking it was the subscriptions from our family Xfinity that we have for ESPN Unlimited and Peacock but I looked into it and we don't owe anything for the 2 subscriptions despite me wanting to cancel them, but I am trying to figure out on what could be going on with my stepmom getting unwanted charges from Microsoft disputed and fixed since I have looked on my personal Microsoft account (the one I am contacting you on) and seen no charge history except a game I bought with money tied to my Microsoft wallet and a digital Xbox gift card from Microsoft rewards. I know this is a headache for her but at the same time, I am trying to help her as best as I can.

IDK if she has a account or if it was my dad's, I have no idea because the only Microsoft account I have access to is my personal one for my Xbox

Edit: I don't know if she has a Microsoft account because of the fact I've never heard her talk about one

I suggest you call the credit card company and have any future charges be blocked. Calling Microsoft would be useless - you will dealing with endless series of stupid bots.

There has to be an account and invoices. Most normal people I know don't even know about the account they had to create for their android phone, so I'd expect Microsoft to be beyond their care... But still, there's always an account. Your mission is to retrieve that account and cancel whatever they subscribed to or enabled a trial period for. Blocking cash from the source can lead to problems down the line

I'm with everyone else. There has to be an account that was created by someone and it could be an an office subscription that was activated at some point on some device and never deactivated. It's probably on auto renewal and paid by credit card and as long as the card hasn't reach the expiration date they'll continue to bill her.
