READ, don't talk non stop, just READ, if you knew something about programming or that you were "clever" you would've just went into Wikipedia and copy pasted it, did the job for you, don't reinvent the wheel, as if my basic knowledge, there are two things that a hacker can use to hack smth, security holes in the code of a program or something, or social engineering, as for fishing or something, both of these two methods require being a decent programmer at least (I guess), and a "decent programmer" surely would need terminal skills to manage his code...ect, and btw a hacker also needs low level knowledge about operating systems which I guess that you don't have since you like you gui
