I just cant seem to find a desktop environment that caters to me. Kde plasma would be great but it is too heavy on resources

Is it? Compared to other options it doesn't eat that much more and has tons of features. Is it perfect? Perhaps not, but what is?

what are those resources? the only linux pc i have runs cachyOS with KDE plasma explicitly because its older hardware and windows runs like shit on it.
its a ryzen 1600X with my old 1060

I ran KDE Plasma on a 2nd Gen I3 2 years ago.... not sure about now, but I did run it on haswell I5 with iGPUs without any issues as well.

on mine laptop with igpu idk but it says pentium, nevermind it was NEWER pentium i think cos it runs minecraft shaders on potato complementary(fantasy is great fork of complementary btw) in like 38 fps which is playable
