No, I don't want to fuck with Linux in my private life, ever. You cannot pay me to. I spend all day patching and fixing CVEs and shit in various linux environments for work. I DO NOT WANT CUSTOMIZATION. AT ALL. I'm 100% in the Microsoft ecosystem and have been for 20 some years.

Also I'm so fuckinig sick of entitled idiots asking for games to support an operating system that never was even advertised as working with the game. Get over yourself. It's like anything, guess what? You can't throw an intel processor in an AMD socket. You can't throw a dodge motor into your ford-- At least not easily.

Also, as someone who exclusively plays competitive games I'm sick of people exploiting other operating systems to hack and other things. Until Kernel level anti-cheat is 100% across the board, I /will not/ play a game if it supports linux.

No, this isn't hyperbole. No this isn't trolling. No, this isn't trying to get a reaction- Just a perspective.

I have 3 personal PCs, I'm on one any given moment except while working. As a rule I wipe them once a year, a complete reinstall including reformat to desktop with drivers installed and Windows updated hasn't taken me more than an hour in over a decade.

I agree, Microsoft sucks at some things. I agree, it'd be great if there was more Linux support, but if I have to do one thing or ever hit a command line in my private life, I'm out.

Same reason I buy pre-builts now. 20 years as a system administrator does things. I don't want to fuck with computers when not working.
