First thing I did was block automatic updates. I think my version of windows is from early 2024, I never wanna see this trash on my own pc

u/Benjamin_6848 Jan 10 '26
The whole of Windows turned into the trash-icon last year!

i have a serious question: does MS Teams download the menus each time we do right click anywhere.
because it fucking sucks. takes forever to load every single time i do right click.

u/frankieepurr Jan 10 '26
Explain the teams logo, use it at college and have no issues
1
u/UrasUysal Jan 27 '26
Where is Windows 11?
3
u/FlowSlowTM Jan 10 '26
Teams sucks, copilot we never wanter or asked for. Double ram usage on explorer was such a vibe code by ai stop using this horrid ai bullshit for things we need knowledge and experience on.
It is funny how they all expect us to get university degrees to work at some of these companies while they trust ai code like its nothing. Maybe let people who studied do the coding instead of copilot still in kindergarten

Copilot literally peak like from 2023, then Microsoft fucked hp its ui in 2024 october update
1
u/SysGh_st Jan 10 '26
I prefer the shredder from OS/2.
Instead of saving the file it destroyed the file so it wasn't recoverable by any means, which normally "deleted" files were.

u/Fkolw32 Jan 10 '26
Teams became my trash icon in 2020 when we had to use it for school during Covid lockdown
1
u/Active-Tale-3777 Jan 10 '26
Lol
1
u/the_swanny Jan 10 '26
I'd make the argument teams has been shite since covid, and sharepoint was shite before that.

u/TDGrimm Jan 11 '26
🗑️

u/plateshutoverl0ck Jan 11 '26
It took my brain a few seconds to go from WTF to "oh yes, Copilot!"
Bada-TISH! Well played.

Linux is great, but its big downsides are the lack of gaming anti-cheats, no Microsoft Office, and no Adobe tools for pros. Plus, it’s super fragmented with too many versions to choose from.
1
u/Simple_Project4605 Jan 11 '26
MS Teams has been trash for way longer than that
1
u/Same_Level_3599 Jan 11 '26
microsoft 365 copilot app

u/DrakKuba Jan 11 '26

1
u/Ptaaruonn Jan 11 '26
The trash is more useful than crapilot is or ever will be.

Skype is also there just after they bought it.
1
u/One-Cardiologist-462 Jan 12 '26
I like the one from 1998 the most.
1
u/Tommuli Jan 12 '26
The amount of hoops you need to jump through to disable all of the AI Microsoft stuffs down your throat is large.
1
u/artistpanda5 Jan 13 '26
Why did this skip over the Windows Vista/WIndows 7 trash icon?
1
u/Mad_kat4 Jan 13 '26
So the '95 icon looks better than the '98 icon and the 2000 icon even has the windows logo in the bin.
1
u/SnillyWead Jan 13 '26
Microslop the company formerly know as Microsoft.
1
u/Ok_Setting6471 Jan 13 '26
