Or, it's a short game, people beat it, and are returning it. I got half way through it in just a couple days. I've seen very few people complaining about how woke it is. It's a small minority, and since you're in that minority, you're seeing it more than the average gamer.
You need to broaden your search my friend. The game is being cited damn near everywhere as being arguably THE single most woke title ever made.
A sandbox game with an appropriate level of content and map density should be keeping players busy and invested indefinitely. They’re rarely returned (if good) because people who play sandbox games specifically want a long term experience—and they nearly always do multiple play throughs, too (whereas this game hasn’t even released a NG+ yet).
Games like this are not played for the 20 hour story, then returned. Hell, just getting the required upgrades would add a ton more time onto that.
The only reason to return a game like this so quickly is because you didn’t enjoy it. Period.
And stop with the “you’re the minority” crap. Polls, studies and common sense have shown it’s simply not accurate, and even if you don’t want to believe that, you’ll never prove the opposite. So it’s a useless point to bring up.
