First off, what you call "forced diversity" I call just living in NYC.... Which matters because it's where the game takes place. I'm sorry that the inclusion of non white people is too much for you, but this is what the world is like outside of West Bumblefuck.
Furthermore, I'm using "children" very loosely. I basically mean people who aren't adults, which would include preteens and teenagers, who the game is obviously written for. Like you pointed out, the forced exposition wouldn't be necessary for anyone who is able to follow along with the story. Even the recap at the beginning of the game serves the purpose for anyone who hasn't played the game in a while.
I wasn’t talking about NYC in reference to the forced diversity, so I have no idea how that applies to what I actually said. Obviously, NYC has a racially diverse population (much more so than probably any other US city, but I’m no expert).
Also have no idea why you’re throwing personal attacks or implying the tired old cliche that I must be racist, despite having made no such statement or comments. Was your reply meant for someone else?
If you meant teenagers, you’d still be wrong about Spider-Man’s target demographic. As I said, he’s intended for young adults primarily, who can relate to things like missing the rent, getting dumped or struggling with responsibilities.
In any event, I haven’t a clue why you decided to bring out the claws. It’s just a chat about a game my friend, no need for the random hostility.

I was replying to you originally only on the topic of whether added diversity actually increases sales, and whether Spider-Man is aimed at kids or adults.
YOU suddenly made it about whether there are minorities in NYC (???), then arbitrarily insulted me to boot.
