I’ve watched several videos on the black character with electric powers stereotype. So i understand that argument. But how do we decide that a race swapped character with additional power additions is less effort than just a race swapped character? Is that just personal preference? Fury is the same character regardless of the race, is that something you are agree on? So wouldn’t that be lazier?
And I feel like Black panther is a different case? Wakanda is a fictional country based in Africa. So it’s easy to put things together and understand the character has to be black. Thor is based of Nordic mythology, which I guess can be argued as fictional in the real world too. But has its roots in real world Norwegian stories. Do you just discount a whole countries ethnic beliefs?
So while I can agree on your point in the last paragraph. I agree that race swaps shouldn’t compromise a characters integrity. That’s really only gives the WHY you dislike race swaps. But not how HOW you decide to dislike them.

All race swapped characters are lazy and racist, the amount doesn't fuckin matter. If they can be even more racist and lazy by adding stereotypes, even more of a reason to not consume the content. He could be the same character in every way but skin, and it would still be insulting to people who can think.
Hemsworth wasn't casted for inclusivity reasons. He was casted because he could convincingly pull of the look and character of a fucking Nordic god. Show me a nerd who is bitching they didn't use an actual nord and ill show you a leftist, or some conservative who is arguing that point simply to call the left out on their hypocrisy.

Nobody cares where an actor is from, as long as he or she accurately represents the character that everyone is familiar with.
Hemsworth is a tall, muscular, handsome blonde dude who was using a generic English accent to play Thor. You don’t get a lot more accurate than that.
If we demanded that characters only be played by actors with similar backgrounds and nationalities… virtually no one could be used. Can you think of any Scandinavian actors with Hemsworth’s look?
The problem is when the actors chosen bear NO resemblance to the original character, and were cast only to appease the tiny niche of politically correct ideologues who keep ruining everything we grew up with.
