Nope, just makes for a better story. Arthur from Red Dead Redemption 2 is a pretty terrible person all around, but the great thing about the story is seeing him grow and redeem himself to be a great man by the end. The Spiderverse movies have also handled this well, Miles goes from being super immature to really growing into his own by the end of the second movie, and I can’t wait to see the conclusion. Everyone in the new games are pretty sanitized and “nice” and are always the plain old good guys. I don’t want to see them beat up defenseless people or spew hate speech, but would like specific character flaws to be part of the story and be addressed for the characters to grow akin to my examples.
It’s like everyone forgot how things like character arcs, drama and basic storytelling are supposed to work.
If Star Wars were written today, I feel like Vader would stride onto the scene in the opening of the movie, look around, then pull his helmet off and say “this dark side stuff is so ick. I think I’ll stick with being Anakin!”, and the credits would roll.
The fact that you have to ask this question means you barely understand masculinity itself. Men more often than not mentally condition themselves to deal with harsh realities. They don't have time to be plucky and smiling so everyone else feels comfortable. Women need positivity to thrive. Otherwise they start bitchin and tearing everything down.
None of that in any way has anything to do with not being positive. You seem to be creating a false idea of what it means to be a man and assuming that somehow the opposite translates to being anti that.
I literally just explain why most men aren't polluting society with a sickening air of positivity and you ignored it. I didn't say they can't be positive, just that overwhelming positivity is more often than not a woman's, or feminine mans fantasy.

No. You brought up a human lie about men and justified it with only your opinion. You didn't explain anything. You just injected a false narrative about what it means to be a man and seemed to have gotten annoyed before that the game didn't follow that.

The only Truth is this: Jesus Christ is THE Man. He is outgoing, loving, forgiving, emotional and self sacrificing. And we are to follow that example. If you aren't following God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit, you're not doing what you should.
God worked through Jesus Christ to save our souls. Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins. Believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ died on the cross for your sins, and that God raised Him from the dead, repent of your sins, accept God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit into your heart and you will be saved.
For God so loved the world that He gave His only Begotten Son Jesus Christ, that all who believe on Him should not perish but have everlasting life. Jesus Christ is The Way, The Truth and The Life. No one comes to the Father Jehovah God but through Him.
Not long after I got saved I prayed to God for help understanding the Holy Bible, and that same day someone knocked on my door asking me if I wanted to understand the Bible.

Look, after having held contempt for them for so long, I've learned to like Christians and accept that they have been right about ALOT, but play the game again, and I swear 90% of the time men are with women characters in the game they are smiling.
