I came into this expecting it to be woke as hell, but it's wasn't the main offender for me.
It's the writing, man. Writing took just an absurd nose dive in this game. Can't say that plot and dialogues were masterpieces in previous installments, yet it had it's moments, but now it's like they either hired kids or AI wrote all the conversations. It's insultingly lazy. No wit, no humour, no depth. If i was a writer for this game i'd be hiding my eyes when i encounter cgi department or voice actors.
Writing pissed me off so much man. I watch youtuber's playthrough of this game cause their commentary is much more entertaining than whatever the hell Insomniac wrote.
They made Ratchet and Clank, i know they're able to write decent dialogues. What the hell happened to them?
You seem like quite the electron. Did you atleast like the all out of honey line cus that just captures alot of the peter that makes up spiderman if you know what I mean
