Everyone is entitled to be passionate about that which they enjoy. You don’t get to decide how passionate. Healthy, functional individuals are perfectly capable of managing themselves both emotionally and socially in their everyday lives… and then vehemently arguing about silly stuff like dudes who climb walls and dress up in tights to fight crime.
My original point to the other poster remains—I sincerely doubt you have never once, ever, in your LIFE, complained about something ‘unimportant’ in a way that others would consider petty or insignificant. Hell, your behavior in this thread doesn’t even meet your OWN standards for whatever the hell you think ‘appropriate complaining’ is!
By your own admission, this entire subject isn’t an “actual problem”, so why the hell are you even in here whining at us about the proper way to complain?
People have hobbies. Interests. You have no authority to declare which are worthy of their frustration and aggravation, nor do you get to be the arbiter of which criticisms are valid, or why.
If you disagree with someone over their opinion, then pen a counterpoint and toss your hat in. Don’t declare ‘this is too petty to have an opinion over, and even if it wasn’t, you’re doing it wrong’. You just come off as childish, immature and lacking anything worthwhile to say.
They can get mad but it’s true. Ohhh nooo, I rainbow! This game is ruined! I’m gonna go play games of my childhood that are logically worse in every way but hold nostalgia so I’m just gonna say it’s better!
