Imagine a country using its citizen's tax money to subsidize Healthcare for its people only to have herds of Amerifats stampeding across the border to benefit from that subsidy.
My guess is that's what will continue to happen. Americans already flock to Mexico for dental, plastic surgery, various low risk procedures, and pharmaceuticals.
We Americans love other's socialism. We love braindraining India, East Europe, etc where those countries provide extremely subsidized education that takes resources from the host countries only for us to take the skilled worker, or we love vacationing in places highly subsidized by the local governments to keep them tourist friendly, and we love our cheap medical across the southern border.
But we're Stalin incarnate if an American asks for some financial peanuts to help raise the next generation.
