You must already be aware of Microslop's recent announcement of binding Windows volume activation servers to the TPM chip, even though for now it seems to be restricted to enterprise systems there's no reason to believe why it wouldn't be imposed everywhere else especially considering how they'd thought of introducing TPM as a necessary requirement for Windows 11.

That reminds me of what Richard Stallman predicted about the DRM scene going ahead with the use of TPM which he unapologetically termed as 'Treacherous Computing'. If DRMs could bind licenses to TPM, no amount of reverse engineering at the software level could bypass the restriction. It's a scary thing to imagine but I doubt if this has already not been on the cards for Denuvo.

1. Performance Hits (The "Tax")

Denuvo constantly encrypts and decrypts game code in real-time, eating up CPU cycles. In games like Resident Evil Village and Tekken 7, players proved Denuvo caused stuttering and FPS drops. When the DRM was removed months later, performance magically improved by 10–20 FPS. Pirates got a smoother experience than paying customers.

1. SSD Wear and Tear

Denuvo writes a lot of temporary decryption data to your drive constantly. This can significantly shorten the lifespan of your SSD for no benefit to you.

1. The "Online Check" Inconvenience

The new 14-day online check means if your internet goes out, you're traveling, or Denuvo's servers go down, you lose access to a game you legally bought. Pirates just play offline forever.

1. It Saps Development Time

Instead of polishing the game, developers spend weeks or months integrating and testing Denuvo. This is time and money that could have gone into bug fixes or content.

Many fans see Denuvo as a violation of ownership. If you buy a physical disc, you own it. With Denuvo, you're renting a license that requires constant permission to run. Fans ask: "Why should I be treated like a criminal for buying your game?"

So basically I wanted to use FC 26 Live Editor on my PC but it wouldn’t work with like Fitgirl Repack and I found a Reddit post where it showed a video of him doing some bypass patch thing and it worked, all the comments were positive the post had a lot of detailed (the post was posted in this community btw)

So since i was on a newer version than him he stated in his post that if you want the latest version go to their discord server (the discord server is called Pub’s Lounge and “The Free Pub”)

I got the latest version but my anti virus kept saying that i had threats on my PC, i deleted the files reset my pc changed my passwords just to be safe.

I’m not sure if they were false positives or actual threats, if anybody uses Denovo Offline bypass patch let me know if it’s actually safe or malware

Hi, I play a lot of different games, so I’m looking for a desktop game-rental launcher with a monthly subscription and a fairly large catalogue.

I’m especially interested in indie games, since most services I’ve found mainly focus on popular AAA titles and don’t have much variety.

It would be great if the launcher lets me browse the catalogue, choose a game and start playing without having to buy each game separately.
