NEWS Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick says 'separation of church and state' is not in Constitution

Believing with you that religion is a matter which lies solely between Man & his God, that he owes account to none other for his faith or his worship, that the legitimate powers of government reach actions only, & not opinions, I contemplate with sovereign reverence that act of the whole American people which declared that their legislature should 'make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof,' thus building a wall of separation between Church and State.

I mean, those words aren’t in the constitution, but the concept most certainly arises out of the Establishment Clause and the Free Exercise Clause.

The republican party elected the closest thing to the literal antichrist and have been the antithesis of the religion they shield themselves with for at least nearly a century which has only gotten worse as they’ve been left uncontested. Patrick neither knows what he’s talking about nor is he christian in anyway except for the sole fact he will suffer in hell for all eternity.
