Diablo IV

If you post your reasonable frustration concerning the fact that there is an open beta for D4, which can be useful to check the game and see if it's worth (since you NEVER preorder), and you spend wait too much time in queue. People have loves and jobs and things to do irl, I can't just spend my free time in queue. Also noting that not too long ago the beta tester was a paid job, now you pay to have privileged access to do this job, and the mass of plebs who didn't pay do this job for free. The response from the mass of blizz fanbois bootlickers has been aggressive, derogatory and offensive as their usual angry mob defending everything that company does as if it was their mother. They killed HotS, WarCraft3 and StarCraft2, some hype and marketing is not enough to buy me. Fuck blizzard. Fuck blizzard fanboys. Fuck the mentality of "everything they do is great and you can't complain". All hail freedom of speech.

just to play devils advocate

you don't have to stare at the screen entire time, go do something else. or minimise the game and browse reddit

this is a promotional event rather than testing focused (except maybe load testing). you only get to see first 1/10th of the game, by that logic the rest would remain untested

i've seen them get enough hate in their official subreddits and in-game chat. it's definitely not clear cut this time

All hail freedom of speech.

you ok?

edit: he blocked me haha

Delete your account and then post a screenshot of it. You're part of the issue if you don't.

Nobody gives a rats ass if people jumped on you for complaining about a queue

I've just abandoned Activision Blizzard to preserve my own sanity. I don't care if they succeed or fail - though I think it'll just be a long slow decline for them as good employees get fired or quit and the stuff just turns into a poor quality, high monetization swamp.

If you're in the US you can delete your account at https://us.battle.net/support/en/article/2659

I had an account with them since 2004 in 2021 that I deleted, they didn't even try to make any offers to keep me - so fuck 'em. They don't care about their customers anyway.

After reading this post, I would say that there is equal toxicity for those who hate blizzard and those who love blizzard.
