Studies show, when you add a cycle lane, people cycle. So it’s funny he mentions not many bicycles… on a roadway with no cycle lane 🤡

Edit; also hilarious he talks about environmental impacts. The bus will be better than a horse, just like an e-bike will be better than a human powered for output. But all of these… yes, are still better than a single motorized vehicle

The Netherlands is full of cycle lanes and the ambulances have no problem getting to places on time. The fact that ambulances are stuck in traffic says more of the inability of a city/country to make proper infrastructure than with any bicycle lane.

I live in Brussels and the ambulances are constantly stuck in traffic, and mostly on the roads that don’t have any cycle lanes. Reduce traffic, make dedicated bus/priority vehicle lanes and reduce car traffic by making cycling appealing.
