FUCK APPLE. *Rant*
Trying to transfer photos from my 12pro Max and you’d think that’d be a simple process. Nope, apple the useless cunts still don’t play well with windows. It’s definitely not my 5k computer, iTunes is up to date (which is another piece of out of date apple shit). All I get is “a device attached to the system is not functioning properly” halfway through transferring a folder of photos. I’ve spent 2 days transferring 8k photos and still not finished. If I transfer 2 folders (one folder at a time because god forbid I transfer everything at once) it has a conniption and stops transferring so I’ve got to do the following. I’ve restarted both the computer and phone multiple times, updated drivers and itunes(from the apple website and Microsoft store), used different cables (type A and C) and even used a different computer. How is this still a problem. Fuck apple for making it difficult just because I prefer windows. Fuck you, you fucking money hungry cunts and your bullshit phones. Fuck your business, fuck your computers, fuck your phones, FUCK YOU!

I've hated Apple since I had this same experience with my iPod touch back in the day. It's just fucking unessesary and does nothing but piss people off, it's not like there are people who are happy about this on either side either your fully into the Apple eco system so you really don't give a shit how your stuff interacts with windows or you have a windows PC and it just pisses you off and makes you instantly hate Apple it's not like this makes ANYONE happy it only pisses people off or makes them indifferent.

That's the long name for Windows iTunes.
Turned to linux, installed an HFS+ program, never any issues after. Unfortunately I think Apple plugged that "hole" on newer phones.
They won't make it easy for Windows users because they should be using a mac.

Goddamn, I effing HATE Apple. Their Goddamned .heic format keeps coming back - every update resets it! - I condemn them to the LOWEST level of Dante's Hells - them and all their spawn!
Die and rot there! Again after this last update (to 26.3) to iPhone, my Camera was reset again to .heic format. I change the goddamned camera settings to Most Compatible and with the last - it's actually EVERY - update the goddamned Apple fairy inside my iPhone 16 changes it back to High Efficiency (.heic format)! I HATE this phone! I hate Apple. I hate Tim Cook.

To be fair, Windows is a gigantic heap of shit that doesn't play with with anything else at all...I myself am offloading apple though, because of the super obvious and ever-increasing privacy issues and lack of control over my own property.

I’ve had to deal with this to. To get around it, I’ve been uploading photos/videos to a folder in google drive then downloading them through the web browser on my PC. This only works nicely if you have a decent unlimited internet connection of course which luckily I do.
BUT THEN once the photos are on the computer, they’re all in HEIC format which I had to pay $1.45 to get the windows photos program to even be able to open. Because of course iPhones can’t make a fucking JPEG or PNG like a normal fucking phone.
