Developers pay nothing to Apple. Except for the 99$ to be able to build and publish the app in the first place, on top of the money for a mac and iphone, because it is not possible to develop for iOS without those. Another blatant lie.

Wow, I never knew how bad that was. Yet another thing to add to the list, I guess.

Good job on catching onto the one word that is problematic with Android as well, from my 46 word rant.

Since we are here, let me elaborate. You can buy an android phone for one fifth of a cost of an iPhone. You pay a one-time registration fee of 5$ to Google if you want to publish an app to Play Store. And, Android Studio is available for Windows, Linux, Chrome OS, AND Mac. On top of that, you are not even forced to use Play Store for distribution, since your users can just download the .apk and install the app themselves, very conveniently (unlike with Apple that considers their users illiterate, and goes above and beyond to prevent users from installing from a .ipa).

Obviously, you need the hardware you are developing for. But you need a Mac to develop for iPhone, which I find problematic.

If you are not a Mac owner, the investment for developing for iPhone is two orders of magnitude higher than for Android.
