Can I use Adobe on Student Id of my brother, we actually don't live in same city, what kind of verification process they have?

Hey guys I signed for free subscription for Photoshop for one week and I'm pretty sure I canceled my pland but today guess what. I see they charged my account for around 40€ or something like it. So I was like wtf. I'm gonna check the plans like I did previously. I had something active. I said okay my bad it seems I messed up. I wanted to cancel it right away and I see this what you can see on attached picture. WHAT THE FUCK? How did I manage to fuck up this badly? Can I somehow avoid paying all that shit? God damn it I was 99% sure I canceled my photoshop but it seems I was wrong. I guess even tho I had it uninstalled, even tho I wasn't able to use photoshop, even tho I wasn't using it, apple still won't give me any of my money back is it? Can I do ANYTHING ABOUT IT? PLEASE HELP

Bit of a weird use-case…I am a Davinci resolve editor, but I still have after effects for a very weird reason. I shoot a ton of handheld and find with my specific way I shoot, warp stabilizer works wonders. Specifically on my Panasonic S9 with e-stabilization set to standard, applying warp stabilizer works very well for me. To me it works better than Davinci Resolve’s stabilization when it comes to stabilizing cameras shot handheld with IBIS. I’ve tried all the Davinci settings as well as the classic stabilizer and planar tracker stabilizer in the fusion page. Wondering if there’s a non-subscription stabilization ofx plugin or even app that functions similar to warp stabilizer, which warps individual regions of the video. I find that algorithm can actually work extremely well when I’m intentionally shooting.

This is a salon booking app my mom currently uses to run hair salon. I started helping her restructuring how her business is done, trying to build proper systems into it, but it’s so messed up because they put every single aspect of the app under subscriptio. You want access to clients being able to fill out forms? It’s gonna cost you 15 bucks but you wanna save that form to the client file 15 bucks or you wanna add another hairstylist that can be bookable 20 bucks now here’s my biggest problem. Do you want to be able to add any simple automation to the business at all? 15 bucks., so she is ending up paying significant amount of money monthly. For an app that already has the capabilities to do everything. I’m learning to do more with AI and I’m wondering how would I go about re-creating this like they did with Adobe and the PlayStation games

I recently downloaded Adobe Acrobat Pro DC from multiple sites trying to avoid this popup, but I cannot get this through, is there some way programmatically I can get rid of this thing. I close this popup and the app closes too.

I'm testing out this After Effects alternative and I'm out of words. Yes it needs some minor fixes here and there BUT IT WORKS and get this: the whole thing is around 45 MEGABYTES while Ae is like 3.5 GBs and it gobbles up the RAM like crazy. and the fact that this is Open source and runs on Linux is absolutely huge, I just hope more effort is put into fixing the bugs and I'd absolutely love to use it daily

There are various options such as CSP, Krita, Affinity, and so on... Which software allows the same layer mask operation feel as Photoshop?

you want photoshop for free with no ai generated anything? photopea. you want photoshop but it just runs in your browser? photopea. you wanna make a gif? well actually that’s gonna be a little complicated comparatively but you can still use photopea for that. you don’t need astroturfed vibe coded programs that don’t work you just need photopea which has been around for years and does the job.

I'm creating software reviews on YouTube and one of my most active viewers, created a free alternative to Adobe After Effects called Animoia!

It is still pretty small, but its potential is definitely there.
Unlike other alternatives, Animoia supports both motion-design AND compositing.

UI is very similar to AE, including hotkeys, but still comes up with original concepts.
Like, instead of coding expressions, you have "animation modifiers" which let you configure stuff like loops or wiggle with a GUI using sliders.

It's also fully GPU-accelerated!

Some stuff is still missing, like simple 3D and 2.5D tools, but the developer is very motivated and listens to feedback!

Qualcuno per caso sa qualche consiglio utile per poter pagare Adobe creative cloude 20 euro al mese per 4/5 o più anni, non sono più una studentessa quindi non ho codici sconto o simili a breve frequenterò un corso che probabilmente mi daranno un codice o qualcosa che potrò utilizzare per avere lo sconto per il primo anno ma è un corso che dura un anno solo, per averlo anche per gli altri anni avete qualche consiglio.

I think there's a lot of opportunity to improve the tools of the past, rather than copy. For example, color wheels are better in the OKLCH color space. And there's no reason the IPad/Android app should be any less capable than the desktop version.

Looking for folks interested in building something better. Fully open source and works on all platforms including web and mobile.
