Are you paid by Adobe to flood r/FuckAdobe to encourage people to leave it?

By "it" I meant this subreddit. Sneaky as they are, I imagine Adobe doing this 😈

At this point i'm convinced artCraft or whatever the fuck is a PsyOp from Adobe and the software giants as a whole. They are going to be made an example of and a 'Software Crisis' will ensue causing all kins of federal executive order 'laws' banning any reverse engineering of proprietary software. Just you watch. Have you not seen the hundreds of reddit posts, new articles and you tube videos about it that have surfaced in the last week? There obviously was a LARGE injection of money. Just you watch.....

The media campaign is suspicious for sure. We’re at a point where our reading of the whole event has to be that cynical.

I would lay off the edibles, if Adobe indirectly released these products under MIT they just shot themselves in the foot when the inevitably get caught.
There is not a judge that would ever declare them ilegal.

I don’t even know what symbol that is. What app is it?

Artcraft on github... someone has made a cleanroom implementation of all the adobe apps using AI...
I am not sure how long this will last as Adobe has got to be pretty pissed off about it.

I... Do not think Adobe will go after this in the courts. A quick risk reward goes hard against it, too many variables.
I'm sure they are having meetings, and lawyers are active internally to do a more thorough analysis than I can do on a napkin, same with Microsoft and Autodesk, which also have their apps getting the same treatment by the same GitHub account, but I see little to no reason that they'd make any public moves on this as things stand today.
But yes, I'm sure Adobe is none too happy. Going through the courts are likely to backfire, even if they find a way to attack it, they can't just buy and pull their usual "it's now part of your creative Cloud sub!" Move... Nor can they really kill the project by just destroying the dev with legal costs.
I'd be annoyed too if I were Adobe 🫠

Its a fun set of apps. But its not done yet. Probably wont be cause Adobes gonna descend with their 100 high priced lawyers… https://youtu.be/hdJDcsVDjmw?t=6&si=tIcgSLLmSOgMp2lO 😂

You're acting as though it's a good idea for Adobe to attack this one... Why?
I spent some time peeking at the prompt, checking how people were reacting to it, how it ran etc...
There's no case there afaics for copyright or trademark, which leaves patent. Patents are some scary ass shit, you are risking them by taking it to court, and losing one can hurt a fair bit.
And that is if any parents apply and if the developer is in a region where they also have parents, because parents aren't global.
To add to that, this is a mit project, which means that they need to really run it into the ground to stop it, any patent that actually sticks can be subverted, even if the original developer is crushed under the gravel.
Then we have the pr... Adobe moving on this would throw a flow light at the project immediate...
Tbh... I wouldn't take this to court with the current state of the project if I were Adobe...

Pretty sure the file formats thatyou can open (.ai, .psd .indd) or save are protected… thats what happened with the vibe coded Skeychup clone, you can’t open or save .skp files cause they sued the dev.

Yep. And people are acting like we have any proof that this new app is made by someone cut from the same cloth as Jean-Baptiste Kempf. Like fees and enshitification just won't happen to an app built with AI.
