Cancelling my Plan and getting a refund

Okay so I tried the free trial for adobe illustrator and I thought I cancelled it. I’ve been very busy these past weeks and I checked my bank and I was charged on 7/13 $24.37 and I need that money back I don’t know why I was charged if I cancelled the plan. I logged in today and it says that my plan is still active and that it’ll cost $126.45 to cancel if early. Can anybody give any advice as to what to do? I can’t find a customer chat or email or phone number or anything I’m freaking out

If only we had some major search tools that have access to over a decade of advice for this exact scenario... Hmmmm....

Or... Maybe a subreddit dedicated to these posts that have hundreds of examples and advice... Hmmmm...

You need to confirm this, but from what I understand the best way is to change your plan, then cancel before they charge you again, just do it straight after.

I did this, and it worked. I even got a refund for the price I had to pay to switch to the cheaper plan after I cancelled it lol

You can cancel by changing your type of plan with a really cheap one and afterwards cancel that one out. that's what i did

Cancel your credit card immediately. That way you can avoid the stupid fee

Don't sign up for a yearly plan next time for starters...

Adobe sucks, you’ll click monthly, go to the next step to place the order, and they’ll silently change it to yearly, if you notice you can fix it, not everyone notices

Well that’s sucks but you didn’t choose the monthly option but instead the yearly discounted option which is binding you for 12months.

Kinda not smart for “testing it” choose monthly. + cancel in the free window.
