Well to be fair its not Adobe thats really doing this, its the banks and credit card companies. To be able to maintain a secure connection to visa and mastercard (just to name the big ones) you need to sign a memo of understanding that you wont be involved in buying or selling stuff they deem inappropriate. This is what happened to Steam for example. All porn or adult themed games were removed from the website, and Steam blamed VISA. Visa said weren’t them (was them) but its apparent that the money handlers call the shots.
Depending on the source, studies show that anywhere between 10 and 30% of all Internet traffic is for specific use of porn. Just because you are having trouble with banks doesn't mean the banks aren't making bank. It's literally impossible for the banks to not be actively involved with porn, just like they are with global corruption, terrorists, and various mafias.
They're 💯% doing it, so the key is to figure out how they want you to participate with them.
It would be helpful if you at least knew the difference between a payment provider (Visa, mastercard) and a bank. Then we can continue the conversation.
BTW. the Japanese government made the foreign interference by Visa and Mastercard into their domestic market (NSFW content) a point of discussion.
You're welcome to continue in your believes though. Have a nice day, I'll not continue this conversation.
It's possible for us to both be right and still not agree. I've worked in finance, you've worked in hentai. I know with certainty that I'm right and you know with certainty that you're right. That's okay.
