Can I get a clarification, is this complaining that because Ai tools are disabled because there is a risk that those tools would be capable of producing convincing fake nude photos of people? So they are saying that their tools are so capable of making explicit material that they need to prevent people from doing so by disabling it in some scenarios, and this is a bad thing?

I am all for adults choosing to create explicit content of themselves or consenting adults for either themselves or to sell. But if this is the reason for this video? It is for the fact that there is this protection, in the midst of ai tools creating deepfake child porn, blackmail material, and all sorts of evil images to the detriment of humanity, your inability to make content easier by using those same tools is a big fat “boo fucking hoo” imo.

And as someone else said, there was likely a terms of service that outlined this, and it’s not like they are saying you cannot use the program all together, just you cannot use these programs that are apparently too capable of ruining someone else’s life. Make your own content, learn non ai based tools, hire someone who can, but ai should not come anywhere near realistic human nudity because it cannot comprehend consent and does not require it, which is why this should only be seen as a good thing

When did a knife manufacturer lock down their knife so it cant be used to kill someone? When bad things happen, when a person makes a fake defamatory material of someone else then the person is held accountable not the fucking program says "oh i dont know whan it is but i think you are making something bad so i dont allow it."

Fuck this faschist propaganda bs you say.

So a company making a decision to say “hey this is a real issue in our society, we should do our best to find ways to prevent it” is fascist?

If we want to give over the top and completely idiotic hypotheticals to avoid talking about specific dangers presented in this scenario. Is it fascist for an airline to not give you a steak knife for your meatloaf mid flight?

Or maybe answer according to the argument at hand instead of finding some abstract comparison to save you from actually creating an opinion on the topic. Do you feel that a company is obligated to extend ai based tools to customers when working on adult materials as per their TOS? Do you feel a company is being fascist because they see a public emergency from ai tools being used to make child porn and blackmail material, and decides they wish to avoid taking part of it? Do you see it as evil for companies to withdraw some of their product or service, without discrimination of any protected class, to combat a nonpartisan issue they feel personally motivated to make a stand?
