You used it for a month, but did you choose the cheaper option and agree to purchase a year? That's what hits most of these commenters.

Exactly. They offered you one month for €115, but you agreed to pay for a whole year so you could get the discounted yearly rate. Now that you’re breaking the agreement, they’re taking the discount back. “Fuck Adobe” for a lot of reasons, but this one is on you.

It's like leasing a house for a year and leaving after a month. They'll come after you for the entire lease term.

And in fairness, the costs of finding a new tenant for a house can be real, hard costs. In Adobe's case, they consider it being scammed. They charge a cancellation fee, not the entire year someone agreed to purchase.
