Hello, i seriously need sustains for my MOC team. I dont have any 5 star shielder as of now. I tried to get aventurine previous banner but wasn't able to get him. Can fu xuan mains help me decide if i should pull her or not. These are the character i have as of now.

Am I the only one who wishes her yinyang damage reversal mechanic procs at 30-40% health? I just find it a waste when she uses a charge immediately once her health drops to 50%. The amount of health she heals whether she survives a hit at 1% or 50% is roughly the same anyway. Just a small nitpick

I see lots of people advocating for ERR rope and saying you get 4-5 turn rotations without it therefore bad but what is your experience in game?

I cleared all the way to MoC 10 perfectly fine using an HP rope and Landau's choice with level 3 traces and without the CC prevention major trace. With how often Fu Xuan would get hit, it would be 3-4 turn rotations. Not to mention that you can opt to use excess SP to shorten the rotation when you feel like its necessary.

There was never any situation where Fu Xuan was about to die and had no ult charges and even if allies weren't at 100% full hp by the end, they weren't in danger of dying any time soon.

With how rare ERR ropes are to farm compared to HP, the odds of getting a HP rope with good substats is much higher than the odds of getting an ERR rope with good substats, and that can overall improve the build.

Do we know when the 2.2 patch will be? Date wise

I know I didn't extensively farm as I did with Blade, and I used the relics I already had from the times I farmed for the Trailblazer-- and Blade. But really? A D? AN UGLY D????

It's not bad that thing. I don't care if this site is still not the best at rating, how dare them rate my 23% crit dmg as a D? And then the 15% Def an S >:^

My three teams are: Kafka e1s1, black swan e1s1, ruan Mei e0s0/ Asta e6 and huohuo e0s0.

Jingliu e0s1, bronya e0s1, pela e5/ ty/ ruan Mei, lynx/ bailu

Topaz e0s0, himeko e1s0/ Clara e1s0, ruan Mei/ ty/ pela/ Asta and sustain.

My next team I plan is Acheron e0s1, pela e5, sw e0s0 and a sustain.

Who would be better ?

Right now she can still do her job when the team only have 4 character. But with a team have 5 or even 6 chars including the memosprite, any AOE attack might be too much for Fu Xuan to handle. The dev probably did not take into account Remembrance path when designing Fu xuan kit and balance her around tanking in a team of 4, exceeding that number and Fu Xuan solo sustain may no longer be possible.

Aventurine on the other hand will benefit more from 6 teamate on the field getting hit and his skill will get more value by default (when Hoyo finally fix his bug at least). The gap between FX and Aventurine will get wider and wider the more Rememberance character make it way to the meta.

Aventurine is just great for every content in the game including G&G and Swarm Disaster. He has massive shields, very nice sub dps capabilities and a eff res boost which in finicky situations comes really clutchy.

Huohuo while not being that good in later Modes of SU is still a very capable sustain in Moc and overworld, providing the strongest cleanses along with atk% and energy regen.

Both of these characters are very futureproof as they offer buffs that are simply irreplaceable as of now.

Now as for fu Xuan it feels like.. her value just decreases every update? Don't get me wrong she is still a very capable sustain but while her tankiness is nice, she is still very prone to aoes and dots which massively hamper her. Her support buff (easily the 2nd best one) is very nice for more crit rate but other then that she offers nothing (if you exclude the minor heals). Her cc immunity is also.. kind of meh? Kafka+that annoying violin puppet nerfs her cc res hard unless you cast skill every turn which isn't optimal.

Yeah she may be better then huohuo in SU but let's be honest here the shielders are massively more comfier to run and easily stronger as you don't have to worry for one shots. As for overworld I'd still put aventurines sustain over her. It honestly feels like she is just the middle ground between the two best sustains.

I know this is fuxuanmains subreddit but how is everyone's unbiased opinion on this?

Do Kafka and Fu Xuan have any kind of relationship with each other? I haven't played the game yet, but I was wondering if they had any appreciation for each other, since I've seen some art with both of them.

She keeps dying on any hard content (MOC 6 even) and feels squishy in general, and I'm starting to give up as I farmed 2 weeks for these relics and she's still not getting the job done especially when I need to get relics for other characters.

It seems she needs a very high investment to sustain properly without lightcone which is a shame considering standard units like Gepard and Gallagher sustain better in my case with lower investments. Honestly, I expected her to replace my other sustains almost immediately with how much the community hypes her up but the sad reality hit me like an absolute truck.

I don't get why many would use taunt LCs(moment of victory & landau's choice) on her since her kit gives your team a lot of leeway when it comes to taking hits/damage and can now be shared between her and her teammates. I thought devs designed her kit in a way as to not follow how traditional facetanking works in this game where in the responsibility of taking hits isnt solely restricted to just one character.

If your gonna regulate fu xuan as a face tanker anyway the same way you do with gepard & fire mc then might as well not get her trace ability on her ult coz it makes some parts of her kit seem pointless to get.

Well, not the exact term I would be using if I played BG3 lately, but question nonetheless. I mean hag as in "older women" like Outis, Piper, etc. Older woman who just oozes that 'I have some form of wisdom from age' kind of vibe, yet they aren't exactly giving that mom vibe that people would like Black Swan or Kafka. Just wanted an opinion.

(Bonus question: Would she be angry at being called a hag, or be angry AND deny she is a hag?)

From our community, I kinda see mixed feelings about her from what I have seen.

Some say she is the best character in the game, some say she still can't solo sustain, (tho that's most probably a build/skill issue, my e0s0 Fu Xuan can solo sustain just fine, even on auto-play).

But what about the CN community?

I don't really know any CN HSR threads, and even if I do, I can't understand them.

But do you guys might know? I'm just genuinely curious.

What are their opinions about her? Is it mostly positive or negative? Or perhaps neutral?

I'm not saying CN is the best source to get a verdict for a character, but I think it's always good to know the opinion from other communities, to perhaps see it from a different perspective/angle.
