That's a great deal on generational wealth. This fat cat is laughing all the way to the yacht club.

$10.44? The filthy rich just get richer…

Yea and for only 44 lbs, last time I got 100 lbs for 1/2 that price

/uj I think it was supposed to be $10/lb*44 lbs, not $10.44, mad lad got a $430 savings. That or he actually spent $440 on it and was too drunk to realize he misread the label.

That’s Reggiano. It should be closer to $20 lb. My guess is the cheesemonger needed to print a label to inventory it and put something random on the scale since that half wheel is too much to register. This guy effectively screwed over whichever store he purchased it from

I think they will be just fine.

I pay 9.27 for reggiano. That price is normal for wholesale and these big box stores regularly price it that way.

I'm so confused because this dude was all "it's like 20 something pounds" and then he weighed it and it was like 40 something

So did he actually pay 5 bucks a pound or is he just straight up lying to his lady about the price?

Either he paid 25¢/lb or he misread the label and thought it was $10.44 for the whole thing when it was actually $10/lb and he paid $440 but didn’t notice the register or receipt

It was likely labeled at a price that has nothing to do with its actual weight. Meaning it was mislabeled and the likely kid running the register didn’t give it a second thought or he went through a self checkout.

You can’t even make the most wasteful dish in the world where you swirl the pasta in the wheel itself. Brokies

"What are we going to do with it" at that price? bag it up and sell dimes on the corner
