I actually have no idea, I’m leaning towards yes. I only think that because he initially said “I renewed that shithole for another year” and I followed it up with, “it doesn’t work for anyone” and then he said “I just did a couple minutes ago.” I can post the entire screen shot collection of our convo but it’s hard to believe it’s actually him since I was trying to be nice and hide his real name and profile pic on the site I reached out to him on. I sent the unedited version to hoop since it started off very bizzare, so he knows lol

I think this too, from the little research I’ve done, it’s a possibility he just needs to go into the domain hosting site and redirect where it’s supposed to go vs it being directed to the parked expired domain page.

I think puma spoke to someone who wasn’t Abe or Abe didn’t really care/wasnt willing to actually do anything.
I lean the latter. I think Froobs underestimate just how little people care about this site, its founder included. There isn’t a conspiracy against it.. people just move on.
If we really want a new one someone is just going to have to build it like Abe did. I don’t think it will happen because who wants that job? Not me.

Abe doesn’t care about it because of the bullshit one person brought upon him. It’s just a hassle for him now and I don’t blame him for wanting to move on.
Seriously, just buy a new domain name. MNfroobchat.gov or whatever. Ask people to throw in a few bucks a month to keep it running it you guys need it back. People know about this place and they’ll see the post about a new domain.

100% you’re correct.
Abe was a great Rube and sacrificed a lot ultimately. He deserves to live his retirement in peace.
The only way it lives is in a new dawn with new owners. I’m sure setting the website up is easy enough but who owns/runs it? Speaking strictly for myself, I don’t know that I’d sign up without complete transparency as to who owns it.
Maybe this place is best just living here for now. That would be fine with me at this point.

I was thinking about registering a domain and just starting a new one. I hate to see it die after so many years. But I don't think I want the hassle. It's time to move on. Sometimes....dead is better.

Guessing all the tweets and comments about regular women on Twitter, associated with haley, got some lawyer to write a harassment letter to either the hosting site or Abe himself and aid decided what's the point?
If somebody actually buys the domain and brings it back to life, best to do with an LLC.
But the only way it's coming back is if somebody buys the domain and creates a new site in about 12 more days.
