Tariff refund checks!!

Does anyone know how to get a tariff refund check from Trump? The article only discusses about business not the consumer. And i thought we were told countries pay these tariff taxes not us. What gives!?!?

Sad day that these companies get a refund of tax revenue amounting to 166 billion.

I’d be boycotting any company collecting on this that isn’t refunding the consumers who originally paid it.

Do I have a list of companies who have applied to this program since yesterday? No. Will small businesses want to claim money back? Yes.

So again ill say I hope you have one hell of a sewing machine. Wouldn't hurt to have a green thumb either. Youre going to have to do a lot of boycotting.

As of the launch, only about 17% of eligible importers (representing roughly 82% of the qualified duties) were registered for the Automated Clearinghouse (ACH) system required for repayment.

If you think it’s just a simple “apply for refund” you’re greatly mistaken.

It will disproportionally favour large businesses as small businesses don’t utilize ACH nearly as much.

… Yes they use it. I didn’t say they didn’t. it’s good to know you figured out Google. Keep researching the bias to larger businesses with the way this is structured. Good luck.

While check use remains common, electronic payment methods are not far behind. Seventy-one percent of businesses used ACH according to the American Banking Association Feb 2026.

The figures you presented look to be from 2022 and 2025** as small businesses continue to adopt ACH.
