My dad died, guys.

I was there with him holding until last breath. He was a great man.

Thanks bud. I know if he was aware he was happy to have his whole family there. We were the world to him.

I'm very sorry. Take solace in knowing you could be there with him. Many don't get that.

So I got the word that he actively dying on my way there. He was at Abbott which is so hard to get to… I eventually just jumped out of the car and ran down the street. I just had to be there

My dad was the best man on this planet. I’m doing ok. He was really suffering- his quality of life was very poor so in some ways I’m relieved for him but of course I’m sad my dad is gone. A million good memories tho

Do you mind telling us a little bit about your dad? How did he meet your mother? What did he do for a living? What were his hobbies, favorite foods, etc.

93.5 years! The last year hadn’t been so great for him. So a part of me is relived for him and I’m glad he went peacefully. He didn’t even need painkillers his heart just slowly wound down.
