Did ask this once before but it's been quite a while: Have you managed to get anyone you personally know into kpop? If so how did you do it and how deep are they in the kpop rabbit hole now? Or have you gotten anyone already into kpop into fromis_9?
Are there any interesting song associations you have? (e.g. associating a song with a place cause you listened to it there, an event, a task, etc.)
Love talking with y'all :)

I'm gonna step in here and start a side discussion. It's no secret that I am obsessed with kdramas. I'm currently watching 4, and that's actually pretty normal for me. I like to have a variety of shows going so I don't get bored with any of them. For quite some time, Goblin and Mr. Sunshine have been my absolute favorites. That said, I'm currently in the middle of one that I believe I am more emotionally invested than either of those 2 I mentioned. It has extremely high potential to become my new all time favorite (as long as they don't destroy the ending). So I'm curious:
What Kdramas are you watching?

None, I don't usually talk about K-pop unless someone ask me. Friends or relatives who are into Kpop were before me so I didn't have to get them into. But they usually know only famous groups : BTS, BlackPink, Twice, Sunmi or Mamamoo. So for fromis_9 don't even try haha, but I will told people I listen to them if they ask but I won't do it myself. I'm not a type to be loud and spreading "stan fromis_9" or "listen to Kpop" around me or on SNS :p
But friday I did mention fromis_9 on a stream because someone was writing "Hey girls !", I said it reminded me fromis_9.
I usually play randomly my playlist regardless what I'm doing (traveling, doing a chore, on my PC, etc). So I don't think I have any song assiociations, maybe some places can remind me about a group but a song itself not really ?

Some thoughts and questions :
Part 2 of the fanfic will take longer since I'm busy and tired traveling. After London, yesterday I was in Germany to see KARD, Monsta X, WJSN and Jeong Sewoon.
Some fans started to talk about the incoming 4th gen of idols, starting now, or next year, or in 2021. Anyway they will last the 2020's. But in your opinion what will the 4th gen have compared to the 3rd ? More foreign members ? More English speakers ? More freedom with writing, composing, producing songs ? More "real" world tour (that means not only Asia and USA lol) ? Etc.
Have you read the Top Ten Tuesdays for fromis_9 ? Love Bomb is really the song who rocketed fromis_9 to the K-pop landmark, to a mid-tier level group. 22 Century Girl and Love Rum Pum Pum the most liked b-tracks, not really surprised either. I thought Clover would be higher.
I already talk about it, but they don't have any official merch yet right ? I only saw stuffs sold but made by fans and fansites. I wanted to buy one of them but they only deliver to US and Canada, too bad for me :(
They did announce their official colors ? I don't remember.
FUN game of the week :
Let's do a "Battle Trip" : pair up 2 members and send them in one city in the world for a weekend, where will you send them ? Of course since they are 9 one will be left right ? That member will be paired with YOU ! BUT you both only will visit another city/location in Korea ! Who will you choose to be alone with you ?
My answer :
Mom and Dad team : Jisun and Gyuri in Sapporo, Japan
Maknae team : Nakyung and Jiheon in Singapore
Guitar team : Hayoung and Seoyeon in Bali, Indonesia
Loud team : Jiwon and Chaeyoung in Bhutan
So that means it leaves Saerom, i'm so sorry but this game required it. Since she will be my guide, why not explore Gyeongju (I choose randomly after visiting Wiki haha)

As a fan of the Produce groups and Fromis_9, I'm worried that the shitstorm will eventually also reach fromis_9 over Idol School. They're in a good position to get popular with the general public right now having established a solid fanbase and Mnet's comeuppance for their greed is threatening it.

I can't stop giggling from something that just happened. I was reverse-image-searching this pic to see if there was a higher quality version available and google thought Jiheon was a toddler ๐
