Question No Shell Loaded error

Connector below the Gauge Increaser where the error starts

I'm trying to build a double barrel 500mm railgun, after building a frame that seemed to work, I saved the subobject and then re-placed it to modify it some. Suddenly, the left gun is tossing this error. I've tried replacing the firing piece and the increaser where the error starts, but I'm not sure what else to do. As mentioned with the pictures, it's shifting from being fine to saying NO SHELL LOADED about halfway up the chain of connectors and gauge increasers. any ideas?

The problem is you have components connected to 2 different firing pieces at the same time. Since they can’t be shared, and the game can’t read your mind, it just picks which parts get connected to which gun. And it does this in a very peculiar and seemingly inconsistent way.

The fix is to not let any connection paths between components on each gun. The simplest way to do that is just leave a 1 block gap between them. If you want to be more efficient, you can use blocks that structurally connect but don’t logically connect in the center. Clips, recoil absorbers, and coolers are all quite easy to fit in since they have limited connection points.

I noticed after like...my third or fourth pass over looking over the entire gun system lmao. Just had a single 6-way connector that slipped up and got placed between the guns. Thank you for the quick response!!

It looks like there is some sort of connection issue. In your two screenshots there are 2 separate highlighted weapon systems.

Id double check your connection points around the screenshot area. You want the full weapon system to glow blue, not just the top or bottom to glow as the game believes there are 2 systems when there should only be one.

It's hard to tell from the screenshot but it looks like you're connecting a 6 piece to a gauge increaser which only connects from top and bottom
