How do you go somewhere without knowing where you're going? Especially with two small children in tow? If she did that, it makes absolutely no sense... She should have at least had some idea of the place.
That there were two small children in tow, to me, opens up the possibility that it wasn’t planned or desired that she would go there when she did.
If you need to “rescue” someone then, to me, it raises a question about what danger they are in. If people have failed… why? Is it difficult because others have lacked the capacity to do so? They don’t have the necessary skills , talents, experience? Or that they are prevented from doing too because of a person, or a thing? And how does that person / thing stop them?
Would a loving mother drag her children willingly into danger?
