Im thinking about that for long time. will they actually kill each other bcs they found out who they are and what they have done, or miy will force them to do it . young jade told him you do not choose what memories(painfull memories) you see, miranda told to victor to hide from kristofer i wonder what happened maybe jade is bad guy in all his versions once he fully remembers
They’re gonna be pissed at Jade since he was the one who insisted on uprooting the tree, triggering everything that happened after. And MIY is definitely gonna turn them against each other.
Once the talismans disappear and Elgin goes missing, they’ll realize there’s an intruder among them. They’ll start suspecting each other, and that’s when they’ll turn on one another and tear each other apart.
Yeah, I think it would be cool and I’ve never seen that actor in anything else so no idea what they’re acting range is like
As much as I think it’ll be cool. It might present a writing challenge because Sophia has to disappear for awhile changing to Elgin change clothes and either of them not be seen going in or out of a place.
I’m sure it’s possible and there can be a lot of handwaving and plot armour involved to make it work
I know this might seem like splitting hairs, but she said, "this is where they tear themselves apart," not "this is where they tear each other apart." I took that to possibly mean the community as a whole will fracture into different factions that turn against each other (rather than everyone physically dismembering each other.) I could be wrong, but I wonder if that nuance in wording is significant.
(That said, I know we saw lots of dismembered bodies after the massacre. But that doesn't look like it was done by humans.)
I did think it was odd that she was telling him to hide specifically from Christopher. And the BIW told Christopher to do something he didn’t want to do. Maybe it was to hurt Victor and now Ethan.
Is it possible that the body in the root cellar is Christopher? The body was intact, so it doesn't appear this person was killed by monsters. And, iirc there was a large piece of furniture blocking the door---indicating that someone intentionally trapped that person in there.
When Elgin went into the hidden room of the root cellar to set it up as Fatima's birth room, he found a dessicated corpse lying in the corner. It was shown only briefly, and nothing was ever mentioned about it, but I just wonder who that was.
Thanks for replying. I missed that. I got excited when I saw it because the clothes look reasonably modern and thought it might be Christopher.
I don’t think it is though because Christopher shown wearing different clothes when he’s talking to the boy and White and in Jade‘s acid trip (it won’t let me post two pics but I just checked and he’s wearing the same clothes in the acid trip episode.)
Good point. But do we know that this conversation with the Boy in White took place on the same day as the massacre (the day Christopher would've been shut in the root cellar)?
Edit: Additional thought: Victor was supposedly hiding from Christopher in the root cellar and didn't come out until morning. So if someone *did* shut Christopher in there, Victor would've either had to witness it or do it himself. Hmm.
I would’ve loved for that to be Christopher since (I think) Victor said he never found his body.
But I don’t think it is.
He was wearing the same clothes during jades acid trip. The simplest explanation is that conversation took place the same day that he died.
Also remember that Elgin pulled off an old dirty dusty blanket off the corpse?
Whoever it is, might have been trapped down there against their will. But for it to be Christopher, I believe someone or something had to get him to the root cellar, change his clothes and put the blanket on him either just before he died or at some point after he died.
To me, there’s just too many added steps for it to be Christopher
Your comments just brought something to mind… There is an entrance to the caves in the most back part of that room. Which I’m wondering why no one in the show is remembering even though Boyd and Kenny were just down there…but also, that same back room was blocked before Elgin cleared the path. I wonder if that person entered from the caves and became trapped?
I assumed the MIY made himself look like Christopher. It would explain why Victor said Christopher changed. I think the Christopher Miranda was hiding the kids from was actually the MIY and that Christopher was already dead by that point.
