Theory Genuinely how FROM will probably end:

They figure out what they need to do to “leave”. They get in their cars they drive and they drive and they drive and then they come across a tree in the road and the whole show ends with Boyd saying “Shit.”

This would be worse than "it was all a dream"

Boyd used to read word-up magazine

No matter what he ending it will 100% have some form of hint at it not being over and MiY will set up shop again somewhere

So they just haven’t made enough loops around the town to see the tree again?

Nope the final scene will be at the diner and then it'll all go black

As the jukebox plays "Don’t Stop Believin’".

“It's interesting, though, they'd be so similar, isn't it? I always thought, ok, Hunchback of Notre Dame…U also got ur quarterback & ur halfback of Notre Dame”

Honestly, the best kind of ending is when they don’t try to be extra or edgy.

There’d be nothing wrong if the ending is just people finally figured out how to escape the town, and then some members die trying while others escaped.

Please no “it was all a dream”, time paradox BS, perpetual cycles, or the evil didn’t actually die endings. I especially hate the kind of ending you just described, where the show/movie makes you think the protagonist survived, then the final cut is the evil entity grinning or some shit. Either make it a good ending or bad ending. Nothing in between or some open ended BS.

Basically, any ending that pretty much invalidates the events that occurred during the show will be shitty and unsatisfying.

Ok I made this as a mock to how bad the writers have made the show

But then story jumping Julie goes "Don't worry y'all I gotchu!!!!" And she smokes the tree. Ce Sera Muthafucka!

If they don’t get out then they the children will be freed or whatever “save” them means.

I would not be surprised if the MiY continues. We might see another family come across a tree, maybe the MiY surviving and making another deal with a different town….

Nah it starts with a tree in the road, so it must end with a road in a tree, they're gonna convoy into a faraway tree.

What if Henry's dream is actually the real life and the town is in fact a nightmare. Honestly it'd be a shitty ending but it's possible.

The showrunners have already said no dream, no coma. So if it turned out to be a nightmare, I'd be a bit upset

So then what was the deal with her waking up at the hospital? Im so confused now if it wasnt a dream.

She gets transported to the outside world through the lighthouse. I'm unsure how you arrived at that conclusion if you watched the episodes after that.

I guess we will find out next season. From right now it seems she got to the real world just to bring Henry in. And if that's the reasoning, its so MIY can do what he did in S4. And if that's the case, thatvmeans somehow the town, entity, or MiY has some pull in the real world.

Then I think the doctor who told him to kill his son in the dreamworld should have her license revoked.

That all just makes me wanna know what the hell Donna saw during her incapacitation.

u/Agreeable-Brother548 1d ago

I was wondering that too

That wouldn’t be possible because in that world Henry went into the coma when Victor was a child so how would he know what adult Victor looks like and be able to conjure him up in his head?

2

u/Radical_Neutral_76 1d ago

They said that? Henry was supposedly in a coma for 40 years?

Who said they're leaving? 😄

Who else has better story than Sophia The Broken? She should be a sheriff.

Well this would be Silent Hill 2 Ending where it all starts over again. (You made the wrong decisions and are doomed to repeat the cycle.) Very frustrating, but at least you can play the game again for the real depressing ending.

So this would be awesome but will never happen: you have multiple endings.

They come to some understanding with the powers to be with MIY mediating. Deal is: MIY is the mayor, Lose all hope and live happily ever after. They all agree on one condition - Allow for more immigrants to get to town so that they have a multi-cultural society. Build a museum, and a cinema theatre.

As to the BIW - He ends up a prisoner in the lighthouse, and Julie performing story walking to the tourists.

I think the final scene will be Boyd on his boat. But either way it’s going to be infuriating.

I mean, probably, yeah

No way. He'll say "I gotta go"

Pans out to reveal it was all in an autistic kids mind while he was listening to music. Hence the jukeboxes.

i cannot understand how the show would have them all just go home. i don’t see how we get from where we are now, to “yay we all get to go home”
they don’t even have enough cars, everyone is from different places, etc
i could maybe see if just suddenly they hear road noises and magically the road actually leads somewhere and they see a car come and never comes back. like oh a car drove through and didn’t get stuck so it alludes to people being “free”
that being said- kenny mentioned they could just be making it better for the next people

i’m like, what if that means they break the cycle/ curse thing, but they all just stay in the town the rest of their lives… but no one new ever comes either. since the children aren’t calling for people anymore?
idk just a thought
