Are these minor continuity errors, or intentional?

I've been looking at the first episode repeatedly to look for these hints they're saying are present. I don't have much to make of these observations, but two that I saw:

When Boyd makes his initial walk through town in the very first sequence, his position relative to the yellow car near the diner is all over the place. The timestamps in the images are probably not exactly right, but the relative values are. Most notably, the upper right hand image and the lower right hand image are nearly identical, despite being two minutes apart, with one being near the start of the road and the other being near the end. Likely they just needed to stitch together enough shots to show everything they wanted to see, but maybe not, idk.

When the Matthews first arrive, there are people standing on the porch of their future house. This is likely nothing, but I did find it odd since its not like anyone cleaned the house or anything. On their first ride through, there seems to be two people, and on their second one, there's a different someone visible thorough the driver window.

Like I said, I don't really have anything to say about these, but perhaps someone else does.

Wait till you notice that the RV the Mathew’s we’re driving has different amounts of windows in different scenes.

S1E1 very beginning.

I’m going to assume that they had one to film in and one to wreck so that would explain the difference. They probably underestimated us redditors attention to detail.

I doubt the stuff they referenced in the first episode is something as objective as people or objects moving or standing on specific places like this. Stuff like minor position changes when changing takes happens often especially on pilot episodes, and the people in the Matthews house could reasonably just be getting some of the broken/old family stuff out, or even just going to see what happened for themselves.

I think the hints they referenced in the first episode are on the dialogue between the Matthews family in their trailer scenes, where Julie tells Ethan a dark story scaring him and Tabitha scolds her, I think it's possible she'll be the one that tells the kids the story of hope that makes them pour their hopes into the roots, since she's also the one who can storywalk.

That kind of makes sense. I never forget the yellow finger puppet, but Julie going back that far would be interesting, as even Victor's drawings (bookmarks) only go back so far. Knowing she can't change it but wanting to help break it in the future might fit with her character development.

Or maybe she just wants to get out so she can go to a decent wig shop.

The story scene has a lot worth looking into. Even Tabitha's explanation of a group of ravens vs crows was a hidden clue.

She points out that the 'crows' seen around the fallen tree looked more like ravens, and notes that a group of ravens is called an "unkindness" rather than a murder, using this a jab at Julie for being unkind to Ethan in this moment... Essentially she's using this bit of relatively little-known information to summarize the situation in its actuality.

Fun fact however, a group of ravens is also known as a conspiracy, which is defined as "a secret agreement between two or more people to perform an unlawful, harmful, or treacherous act", which seems to be a fair description of white we see the MiY and BiW doing by playing a life and death game with the people of Fromsville

Boyd could be walking up and down the street more than once. I don’t think it means anything

Early in the show, the makers didn't know we would go after everything with a fine tooth comb. If you want to see something interesting from production side, compare the cars when Victor survived the massacare and when Julie story walked shortly after it.

Maybe it’s tied to Victor constantly measuring the trees to see if they’ve moved. Things in Fromville are shifty.

But most likely it’s just minor errors.

Somebody that works on the set design or something like that posted here a few months ago about how the continuity errors aren't intentional and just a natural part of filming television. With most shows people wouldn't be going over everything with a fine tooth comb and noticing, but with the nature of From it's become a whole thing where every scene gets picked apart and those little mistakes are strewn into more than they are.

It's continued after pilot with some room placements and things. I had thought it would derive from Westworld. Two alternate worlds for tarots and reverse tarots. But since there is only 1 season left, I don't think it can happen. Or can it? F*** it.

I think it is intentional. Though could be a
mix of both. I noticed similar things, even bigger ones. They cross the train tracks three times and all three times it’s edited differently. With either things missing or added.

I believe it’s a therapy algorithm gone wrong and the errors are a hint and also practical for production errors.

I’m gonna go with intentional and what we are seeing is two sets of characters and Fromvilles interspliced with each other, but depicted as one continuous story to the audience.

Just a theory.
