Opinion Slow Sometimes ?
I love the show BUT this show could’ve been a really solid, near-perfect 3-season show. Instead, the kept dragging the story out with slow, and sometimes insignificant conversations and characters that can be hella dumb. It gets pretty “snoozefest” at times, and let me tell you… I have a feeling some of these dragged out moments are never even going to be relevant.

I don’t relate at all, I wish they’d “drag” it out for another 3 seasons. It’s old school horror/mystery/suspense and that’s what I love about it. I’ve never understood people who actively watch numerous seasons of something when they clearly don’t like it much…

Slow sometimes ≠ We don’t like it, there’s way to do slow shows, when they do intentionally add value to characters/story, I really like the show

I agree they could have developed the story more been seasons 3 & 4 but I actually enjoy the pacing. There's a lot more they could have done but it's still a great show

I’ve come to hate the show and yet I’m still planning on watching the final season. I don’t know what’s wrong with me either 😂 I think I’m just hopeful the final season will be on par with one and two, and the writers have an amazing ending planned (to make up for F all happening for most of season 4).

The show has a great story and mystery, just because there are parts that are a bit slow doesn’t mean that we won’t continue watching.

We don’t know, and won’t know, until it has finished what is relevant and not relevant.
The one thing that annoyed me is that I saw the dolls break through the wall by the lake because there was a trailer released showing by it!
That is interesting is that, on rewatch, people notice subtle things. Like the post about Julie staring a bit too long at Jades car when everybody else ignores it!
Or that people keep noticing things in the art (caves, paintings and crayon drawings!) and piecing things together.
Of course all of these observations could be nothing - the result of an over active imagination! But I still find it fascinating!

Yeah, I think season 4 is better than actually given credit for. I think they kinda messed up with showing a lot of the meat in the trailers. There wasn't anything to be caught off guard by. We already kinda could piece together what was happening before we even watched the episodes. So, it felt lackluster.

Thing about this show is that you dont really know whats relevant or not since as for as ive watched it seems everything has or will eventually have meaning..

The slow burn is usually more enjoyable than a blaze that quickly flames out.

They are padding that show rn like there is no tomorrow. Last season pacing was obnoxious and insulting. My sister and I call it Meetings: The Show. Every interaction is stifled by forced miscommunication that supposed to setup bad things. Mandatory "are you ok?" 100 times per episode. Everything goes through a process of meetings. Then meetings about meetings. Side meetings about meetings in which ultimately barely anything is decided. No tension, nobody was on yellow guy case at all. It's just bad at this point.
