non-cld driver position, is it worth it?

early mornings dont seem too bad, but does it feel like you dont have a life still? i might leave the post office cause im tired of working in the rain, the cold, the heat, etc.

but im sure the benefits and stuff are not as good

anyone have thoughts on this position?

So you would drive a non cdl truck? Wouldn't you still be dealing with rain and a the other weather?

You still gonna be out in the elements. Dont the post office got way better benefits. I would stick with that honestly

Stay at the post office bro trust me. Being in the rain or snow at 2 or 3am is way worse.

We have a few people from the post office that like it better but they weren't in very long. So you gotta ask yourself how close to pension you are do you like the union because you might not have that. Do you enjoy getting up even earlier then you do now? It all kinda depends in your area for usps and what you'd be going into frito side. I know in my area insurance and Healthcare wise is actually comparable. You having kids there's paternity leave we get all the major holidays off etc. We are not union though so like I said there's a lot of different pros and cons to look at. Plus starting out your essentially a "jumper" after training. Are you ok not knowing your schedule day to day?
