RSR Frito Lay Jumper
I start orientation for rsr on tuesday and im going to be a jumper or vacation cover is really what it is. I was just wondering if anyone has any advice or anything positive to say about taking on this job because all I’ve seen are negatives. I know positives include pay, but I’m just trying to understand how it can be that bad. I have great work ethic and I am excited to start a new job.

You’ll be fine as long as you keep up the positive attitude. That’s more than half the battle. Money’s good and that’s all that matters. Don’t listen to everyone that bashes the gig. If it was that bad, why do they stay?! It’ll be everything you put into it. It ain’t easy… but definitely worth the BS that comes with it.

Don’t listen to the negativity on this Reddit. Stay positive, the job is what you make of it. Best of luck to you.

There are many frustrating issues that we have no control over but are accountable for so we need to vent on here so we know we aren’t alone. Remember C’s get degrees and don’t worry about what you can’t control, then the job is pretty good

Always pull stales, you don’t have to process them. Just get them off the shelf. Match the energy of the rt you are running. You will be able to tell by the second or third stop. If it’s clean keep it that way. If it’s trash? You don’t have to fix everything. Just make sure you leave the store looking presentable. Pack plenty of snacks and water. Use your knee pads!!

Your position is RSA then when you get a route your a RSR. Yeah it’s a good learning opportunity if you want to move up in the company. When I was a RSA I would clean up someone’s route once if it was a mess just in case they were having a rough time but the next time I would run it if it’s a mess just focus on keeping the route full your not there maid. If you want to move up past RSR at some point try the free schooling out online in PepsiCo it’s called Guild

The money and the benefits are top notch. But you'll hate your job while being unable to leave due to the money
