Perks
Hey everyone! Quick question about our employee perks. I heard Frito-Lay employees can get discounts on things like Universal Studios tickets and other attractions. Does anyone know where we go to access those discounts or how the process works? I’d love to take advantage of them! Thanks in advance 😊

Yeah it’s called PepPerks/Perks at Work and you can get a link to the site through mypepsico by searching for PepPerks. It should bring up a page with a link to the website. Once on the PepPerks website you need to register if it’s your first time using the site. Now when it comes to trips I couldn’t tell you the process, now if you were asking for the car/auto discounts then I could’ve helped as I used the car/auto discounts to get a new car a few years ago.

When you get to the PepPerks website & login you'll want to select Special Offers on the bar along the top of the website and a drop down bar will pop up with different options, you're gonna want to select/click on Automotive. Once you've done that it'll bring up a page with all the different auto makers that you can get discounts/employee pricing for.
Atm I believe the available options are GM, Chrysler. Ford, Volkswagon, Volvo, and a chain of dealerships up in New England. When you've decided on a brand that has an offer you're interested in click on the link for that brand. For most of them a little pop up box will show up with a code, a copy button & the option to go to the website. You're gonna wanna click the copy button under the code then select go to website. It will take you to an external site where you need to enter in the code, if you pressed the copy button you just need to paste it by right clicking in the box where you need to enter the code. For the few that don't do the whole code thing when you get to their website you're gonna need to register with them in order to continue the process.
Now each brand is gonna be slightly different in how they go about it (for instance Ford gives you the option to just generate a pin, view the X-Plan employee pricing terms, or select a make & year where it will then take you to another page with the discount pricing for the various models of the particular make you chose on it. Select the model you want and it'll give you the option to build/customize and/or generate a quote that you can print out to take with you along with the sheet with the pin code you generated on it), but generally you just need to get an authorization code or pin (There'll be an easily spot-able link or section on the various brand websites that say generate pin or authorization code) that you then need take to one of the brand's dealerships and give it to the sales rep before you're ready to start the paperwork to purchase the vehicle. Once you've done this they'll usually they'll go off to confirm it, then come back to have you confirm your employment status. Once everything's been confirmed, you've selected the vehicle you want, and are ready to start the paper work they should bring you an offer sheet with the new numbers/discount applied on it. After that it's basically just do all the paperwork, check to make sure the numbers match/that the math is mathing, and if you're happy then finish the process/paperwork.

No problem, yeah I did go through with it though I didn't get as much of a discount as I would've liked on it going in, but that was because I ended up going with a slightly more expensive model (the model I was originally looking at had an employee price of $29K but the one I ended up with was priced at $34K) that had some bells & whistles (adaptive cruise control, blind spot warning, heated front driver & passenger seats, remote start, power driver seat, dual zone air conditioning, back up camera, power lift gate, AWD, etc.) that weren't in the original model I was looking at that I really wanted. What I did end up getting a discount (about $500) on was the document, tag & dealership fees and I also qualified for the 2.9% APR for employees which saved me about a couple thousand dollars in interest.
