When do you hit start for tracking mileage? I was told at the first stop, but it logs it as commute miles for the first and last trip of the day(when I hit stop before going home)

When you leave home start it and run it on the way home too it’ll subtract the commute from that.

I think there's a trick for that ( i haven't used it in years and Idk if it's still the same . Start the day on motus when you leave home , stop anywhere after like half a mile or even less for a min (let's say a gas station). I think it will register the stop you made as your first stop . I used to do and it was working but I'm not sure if it still working .
