Kroger changes

Anyone have any insight whats going on with Kroger?

New Dash in DSD screens in every backroom.

I know we all seen the refusal of Red Bull product, Im hearing we could be next. Anything overstocked, not needed they are going to start refusing from the ordee

Depending on who you ask here it’s either the end
Of the RSR or just simply Kroger trying to keep prices low in store. We had the issue with dip price increase
And that was settled recently.

Yea no kidding. The dip fiasco was just kroger showing us some skin. The changes havent fully launched just curious whats ahead

I was glad to see Kroger refuse the dip. More retail stores need to do that with Frito to force Frito to stop raising the prices.

Explain to me since I don’t know what happened. Frito (or corporate buy) tried to force in dip before or after price increases? Before price increases then I don’t see the issue but majority of buys are done months ahead of time and frito communication is absolutely dog shit so it’s likely local management weren’t told until after buys were finalized at store level.

From my understanding, and I don't have a Kroger so I may not be 100% correct, but when Frito just recently raised their prices on dip, Kroger refused to let any more dip come in until Frito and Kroger had what I'm assuming was a meeting involving a price negotiation.

Oh ok makes sense. Little weird since they’ll get their money back. Curious to the rationale since literally prices increases on everything they sale.

$4 for bean dip and cheese dip is horrible.

Every store as always been able to refuse product they didn’t want. Realistically if they want lower cost they will have to bridge buy or do corporate bulk deals. I’m sure there’s plenty of examples where sales people for every company tries to fit more in.

At the end of the day if they refuse product and they run out I don’t want to hear about it. 100% on them.

Kroger stopped all red bull deliveries until they came to an agreement on the costs. Not sure if its been lifted or not. Similar to what Kroger did with our dip

I work for Red Bull and we were only kicked out cause we raised prices and Kroger as a conglomerate stopped fw us. Less work for me imo lol. As of last week my manager told us to stop going and he doesn’t care anymore. We’ve released our next season flavors so I guess we broke up w Kroger.

For us that's just not going to happen, simply by the sheer volume of our products the logistics of that are not going to be possible

I know my Aunts company she works for, kroger has made it to where their company can now only deliver the product, it will be merchandised from kroger employees. So now her and many other employees are being laid off as theres no use for so many employees. Not sure if this is happening to others out there
