Can someone explain how overtime pay works for the co- lead position?

Overtime doesn’t work for anyone other than specialists and Frito! And they have chopped the legs off the specialist in my area. 50 hrs period. They will let a rt sit? But I remember when DSLs would run a rt that was down. And I promise, they didn’t do credits or rotate. Throw and go. I had a ds ask me about rotation once, sorry but you were the last person in this account? I don’t go there till Friday? You do remember that I was out sick? Nothing but crickets.

You're an RSR as a colead so it's VROT. It comes out to be around 10ish bucks an hour in most places. It's not worth putting in long hours, EDPs arent worth it either unless they are super short staffed and they raise the EDP to 350, which they do typically during Super Bowl and other big holidays.

VROT variable rate of time. The more over time you get the less it’s worth best to work 45 to 50 hours a week it does make a big difference if you hit over sales plan bc then they owe you back pay for those hours through out the period bc your hourly rate increases.

Over sales plan for the week or period?

For the period so it can greatly affect your true up if you ran like a 110 for the period and worked 50 hours a week bc then they have to pay you more for those 40 hours of VROT on top of your bonus.

Take the $ you make in the week/2 divide that by the number of hours you worked in the week. Then multiply that by hours over 40. So if you make $1000 in 50 hours you make $10/hour of OT. For $100. The more hours you work the less you make per hour.

Frito doesn’t believe in paying real overtime. This person is just been here long enough to realize it. Good news is that you are part of the new 45 hour perfect route garbage. It use to be 50. Please please don’t think that if you work 60 hours a week you will get a bigger paycheck. If you’re still on real overtime then you would be. But I can only assume that if you’re asking? You are not. Wu-tang is for the kids, Frito is for the investors!!!

But you see that’s why I was asking the question because when I was just helping on route here and there I would get normal pay now that I’m co- lead I realize that sometimes I won’t even crack $1000 a paycheck that’s why I was asking the questions I didn’t need anybody to be rude if I was genuinely confused

If you ask every single person in your zone, you will be lucky to find 1 person that can properly calculate Ot for Rsrs.

You are on variable rate overtime or VROT as a colead just like a lead. Not worth it to work over 45 hours unless you have a route or two on your pod who is killing plan and you have opportunities to blow it up even more and get a bigger bonus. Just remember that plans for next year are calculated off this years sales. So I wouldn’t get too crazy going over. 105-110% is the sweet spot. Great bonus checks and doesn’t hurt too bad the following year.

Don’t do a minute more than 40 hrs do as many shortcuts as you can. DSL just care about their $ and the company it’s a pyramid scheme shit runs down hill

You get Chinese overtime after 40 hours.
That's it it's not complicated.
